Anna smiled, leaning forward to put her head on his shoulder once more, playfully punching his muscled chest. "You don't know the type of people I hang out with," she mocked him. She felt something she hadn't felt in a long time, hope.

Wyhm leaned his head on Anna's shoulder to, so that they were just sort of resting on each other. "Yeah, whatever," he said teasingly.
She pulled away a little, leaning her forehead against his."Do you want to know what I'm thinking right now?" She asked him, smiling at him, she had a radiant smile when the smile was real.
"That if I don't eat something soon my stomach might shrivel up and die," Anna answered, moving to kiss his cheek, then pushing him away. "Make me food!!!"
"My eggs!" Wyhm yelped, suddenly remembering that he had been cooking before their conversation. He scrambled over to the pan and quickly resumed, relieved to see that nothing was burnt.
Anna smiled at his temporary panic. "I would have told you if your apartment was on fire," Anna told him with a smile, one foot swinging like a child, biting her lip, but still smiling.
"Who cares if my apartment caught on fire. I would have to start cooking all over again," Wyhm said, faking complete seriousness.
Anna laughed full out, sounding like bells ringing. Well, at least then we would know the eggs were fully cooked, and we wouldn't have to eat any raw meat."
"I have tried it, never will again though. It's just, to...I can't do it." Anna stopped herself, she really didn't know how to describe it beyond gross.
"Yeah...it's not my favorite either. I may look like a wolf, but I don't really act like one. Well, not usually," he said with a little wink.
"Oh really, wolf boy?" Anna joked, slipping off the counter and limping over to him, wrapping her arms around him waist, watching him cook over his shoulder.
Wyhm just chuckled rather than replying, ruffling Anna's hair. "There are plates in the cabinet if you wanna grab one," he said after a minute.
Anna moved to grab one, wobbling a little, but staying upright, sliding it onto the counter beside him. "Do you have apple juice, or orange?"
"Both are in the fridge," he said, flashing her a grin before transporting the now finished eggs onto the plate.
She pulled out the apple juice, taking a cup from the cabinet the plates were in and pouring herself a glass, taking the plate and going back to sit on the couch, waiting for him to come join her.
Wyhm dumped the bowl and pan into the sink before grabbing the plate of eggs, two forks and walking out to her.
She smiled at him, taking a fork and cutting a piece off the edge of the eggs, tasting it and smiling. "I'm shocked, they're actually pretty good. Credit to the cook."
"Oh really, a professional scrambled egg cooker, I'm sure that must pay well," Anna joked back, taking a drink of her juice, smiling at him as she ate, trying not to shove the hole thing into her mouth like she sssoooo wanted to.
"You'd be surprised," he laughed. "You can have it all if you want. I'm not to hungry," Wyhm told her.
Anna's eyes widened as she looked at the food, she never got a full meal all to herself. She made herself eat slow still, working at it with practiced patience. "Thank you," she said softly, putting her dishes on the coffee table for the moment, looking over at him, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"I-I," Anna stuttered. "I don't think I want to anymore," she admitted in a small voice, looking down again. She wanted to reach over and take his hand, but wasn't sure how he'd take it.
Anna's breath caught, she froze for a moment in total shock. Then she wrapped her arms around him, enjoying the way he held her, like he knew she wasn't made of glass.
"I don't think I could bare to watch you get caught. To know that my comrades were the ones in charge of killing you," Wyhm murmured into her shoulder.
Anna froze, suddenly becoming stiff in his arms. Oh, how easily she had forgotten what he was, what any of his friends would do to her, what their job was, what he should have done to her the second he saw her. She pulled away, her whole body starting to tremble again. Why did he have to say it? Why? Couldn't he just have let it be, let the dream continue. No, reality had to come crashing back down over her. The moment was lost with that one statement.
Wyhm looked up at her, confused. "Anna, whats wrong?" he asked, concern clearly evident in his voice.
"Any of your friends would kill me, anyone in the city would kill me," she whispered, "This was a mistake."
She stood, carefully making her way toward the door, sadness and fear clouding her judgement so much that she didn't even remember her bag. "I'm leaving, please....forget about me."
"Anna...Anna! How are you even going to get out of here? I doubt you remember the way," Wyhm said with a scowl. "If you're going to leave, at least let me show you the way. At least let me know you get back home safe," he pleaded.
"No, I'll be fine," Anna said, her voice quiet, secluded, it was like you could hear the loneliness in her life, the walls around her heart in her voice. She fumbled with the door a little, swearing at it.Her hands were clumsy, her eyes swimming. She would not do this, not again. Not in front of him.
Wyhm quickly pressed his hand against the door, holding it closed. "Please Anna. I don't want you to go, but if you have to, at least let me have some sort of piece of mind by seeing you make it out. Please." At this point he was just begging, voice cracking on the last word.
Anna turned away from him, not letting him see the tears. "No, let me leave, please just let me go," she begged, finally getting a grip on the handle, trying to pull it open.
He pressed harder as Anna tried to pull open the door, preventing her from doing so. After only a seconds hesitation, Wyhm took hold of her shoulder with his free hand and whirled Anna around, crashing their lips together.
Anna was stunned at first, but then she melted into him, wrapping her arms around his neck and tangling her hands in his hair, pressing herself against him, her tears drying.
Wyhm pressed against Anna, which caused her to be pinned between his solid body and the door. His arms wrapped instinctively around her slim waist.
She parted her lips, moving with him, her head spinning and her heart racing like crazy. He was so intoxicating, and right now he was everything. All he could see, feel, smell, taste, and the room was silent outside of her uneven breathing.
"Please don't...leave...me," Wyhm breathed between kisses, holding Anna as close to him as possible.
"Never," she whispered back, pressing her forehead to his as she broke the kiss for the moment. "I'm sorry."
She turned her head away from him. Burying her face in his shoulder. "I do everything wrong," she said dejectedly. She leaned heavily against him.
"Yes I do. Why else would they send me here on what we all knew was a suicide mission," Anna looked up at him. "I knew they wanted to get rid of me, yet I agreed to it anyway."
((>,< sorry, i forgot DX))"Maybe they thought you were the only one who could pull it off. They've been successful in stuff like this before," he suggested.
"Not really, they never do this, but they're desperate. We don't have the resources we need, everyone is starving. It's hell out there," Anna said, remembering the little ones and the way they cried.
