Anna wrapped her arms around his neck, still holding on loosely, but feeling like she wouldn't be able to hold on with just her legs. The side of her face pressed into his fur, and she found he was soft and warm, and not as scary as she thought he was. "Thank you," she whispered, knowing only he could hear.

Wyhm gave out a huff, trying to convey that she was welcome. It was oddly comforting, having someone so close to him and hanging on. What am I even doing right now? Mother surely wouldn't appreciate this...I should take Anna to her. But I can't. Wyhm thought to himself.
Anna closed her eyes as the went through the forest. It was odd how she had stopped shaking, she wasn't really scared anymore. She just hoped that she could really trust him. Trust no one Lucy had told her when they rescued her from the forest the first time whoever isn't out to hurt you certainly won't be there when you need help.
It wasn't long before they reached the city. Wyhm stopped behind a dense section of tree and shrubbery, enough so that they were hidden. He knelt down so that Anna could climb off.
Anna carefully climbed off, biting her lip against the pain, leaning against a tree, careful to keep herself up right and out of his way. Shifting seemed easy enough for him, but that didn't mean it couldn't go wrong. Her bag was still on her back, by some miracle she had remembered to grab it. Why is he helping me? Anna thought to herself, watching him. Is there even hope for one of them to actually care?
Whym changed back seamlessly, immediately going over to Anna to help her. "Don't worry, the entrance were using isn't very far at all."
"Okay, if you help me I should be able to make it. Just give me a second. I have sunglasses in my bag. It makes it harder to recognize me, other than the hair, you know," Anna rambled, she had a bad habit of it. Most of the time people just needed to tell her to shut up. She pulled her hair back and pulled on a sweatshirt, tucking her hair in, then putting the sunglasses on. "Okay, let's get this over with."
Wyhm smiled slightly, just sort of letting her ramble. "Alright, come on," he said before grabbing on to her so as to help Anna walk. Closer to the city walls and hidden behind some bushes was a door, which Wyhm opened easily. Inside was a long corridor, one of the many that led into the city.
Anna followed him, she didn't like the small spaces, she was claustrophobic, but she was used to this, many of the bases were like this, still it made her uneasy again. "How long is this tunnel?"
"I don't know the exact measurements, but I promise it isn't long. It should only take us about 20 minutes to get to my apartment," Wyhm said with a shrug, "Why, is your leg bothering you?"
"No, it's just...nothing," Anna's voice dropped to a whisper. She reached out to touch the wall, feeling the rough surface of the stone, the coldness of it. Wasn't it funny that a city full of such evil would be surrounded by walls that will never grow warm?
Wyhm looked at her sort of funny, but kept on walking. The rest of the journey went on in silence, until finally they walked through a door that led into a side alley of the city.
Anna seemed visibly relieved as she stepped out of the tunnel. She shouldn't be relieved though, she was in the eye of the storm now. In here she was in the most danger. She looked over her shoulder to Whym, "Which way?"
"Straight," he said softly, walking forward to lead Anna over towards where his apartment was situated.
Anna followed him, trying to put a little more pressure on her leg so she wasn't limping so much, though she still kept a hand wrapped around his arm to keep her upright as she was others passing by on the street, going on their merry way. "Do you think they'll know?" she asked him, biting her lip, she was never good in the city.
No one really looked their way, except for a few people who were familiar with Wyhm and trying to figure out who his new lady friend might be. After a few minutes of walking, Anna and he finally made it to the apartments.
Anna was surprised, the apartment was...nice. She hadn't exactly expected him to have a clean, well furnished apartment. Then again, she was used to hideouts and barely suitable living condition. She just really needed to sit down, and the couch looked really comfortable, but she didn't want to intrude on his space. To her surprise the shades were already closed too, so she could brushed her hood off and remove the sunglasses she was wearing.
"Make yourself comfortable, I guess. Guest room is right down that hallway and on the right," he gestured before heading over to the kitchen. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?" Wyhm called.
Anna settled herself on the couch, laying down and propping her foot up. She heard Wyhm talking, but couldn't really understand, the couch was so comfortable and she hadn't slept in near two days. She opened her mouth to respond, but only ended up yawning instead, her eyelids fluttering closed as she fell asleep, her whole body going slack.
Wyhm poked his head though the door, only to find Anna asleep. He smiled slightly before going to his room, grabbing a blanket, and covering her with it.
Anna felt the warm of the blanket and murmured a little in her sleep, her breathing quickening for a moment at the contact, relaxing again when she realized she wasn't in danger. Another murmur parted her lips, sounding like the words I love you.
Wyhm jumped back a little when she spoke for fear he had woken her up, but relaxed when she stayed asleep. She must have a boyfriend or something back where she is he thought to himself.
((sure))Wyhm woke up in the morning in his bed. He stretched before sitting up and rubbing his face.
Anna woke when the morning sun came through the cracks in the window, shining on her face. She was confused at first. Where was she? What had happened? She sat up on the bed, rubbing her eyes. She was sore, and she knew she had some new bruises. She stood up, trying to stretch, until her knee gave out and she fell hard back to the ground, the coffee table being pushed aside when she knocked into it. Oh, she remembered now. She sighed, just lying there on her back.
After hearing a loud bang, Wyhm scrambled to his feet and sprinted into the living room. "What happened?" he yelped, scurrying over to Anna to help her up.
"I just fell, it's nothing," Anna brushed it off, moving to pull the table back into place. She looked up at him. He looked really hot with his hair all a mess, his eyes tired, not to mention that he was pretty muscular. "Good morning, anyway."
Wyhm couldn't help but laugh, "Yeah, morning. Anyways, I figured we should eat and then I can take you to where you need to go?"
"I guess, I probably shouldn't tell you that i was planning to rob one of the stores and then run for the hills," she said, looking away and smiling, "but breakfast sounds good."
Wyhm raised an eyebrow, "Rob a store? Sounds like that would draw a lot of attention," he mused before walking to the kitchen.
"Attention is the point, they see us, they know we're still here, it infuriates Her. Plus, we need the supplies." Anna said quietly, watching him leave the room. "Just no raw meat, you might like it, but us not half wolves like our meat cooked," she joked.
Wyhm boomed out a laugh, "Damn, I was just gonna slap some red meat on a plate and hand it to you," he teased. He then went to the fridge and pulled out a carton of eggs, thinking of preparing them scrambled.
Anna smiled, knowing she could make him laugh was a comfort. She stood up again, using the edge of the couch to walk, making her way to the kitchen, using her arms to sit up on the counter, looking at him.
"So what are you going to do when you get caught and killed?" Wyhm asked with a frown, pulling out his whisk, bowl, and pan.
Anna fell silent for a moment looking away. "I should already be dead," she whispered softly. She tucked her hair behind her ear, swallowing hard, studying her shoes intently.
"Just because you should be doesn't mean you have to be. Making an obvious robbery is a suicide mission. We're all on high alert for you guys, did ya know that? You've gotten caught once, luckily by a nice guy, but please don't make it twice. I can guarantee you won't run into a single other person in this city that won't bring you to mother, and I can't help you," he said.
Anna looked away, holding her tongue. She knew this. That was the whole point of why she had come. She was tired of being hated by everyone, being told how stupid and ignorant she was, if she was going out, she would go out with a bang.
Wyhm glanced up at her from his pan full of egg. "You're still gonna do it, aren't you? Even though you know the risk, and even though I've asked you not to?"
"You don't understand," Anna whispered, her breathing heavy as she tried to stop herself from breaking down. Dammit, why was she so weak? She wished she could get away from him, but the he was the only one who might be able to save her, to stop her from doing it.
Without really thinking about it, Wyhm went over to her and wrapped his muscualr arms around her. "Please don't cry," he whispered, easily seeing how she was about to.
Anna couldn't help it, her tears spilled onto his shirt as she buried her face in his shoulder, close to his neck. "I'm sorry...I just hate this...so much..." Anna sobbed, her small body heaving with the sobs. "I'm so sorry..."
Wyhm just held her closer, stroking Anna's hair in an attempt to calm her down. "It's okay...shhh, Anna it's fine, everything's gonna be fine," he murmured.
"No it's not," she whispered. "I just want to die, all I am is a burden and an outcast and a stupid child. I'll never be able to make it out there. I'll probably end up walking off the end of a cliff, and it wouldn't even be on purpose."
He shook his head. "Don't say that. I'm completely confident there are people out there who value and love you. And besides, there aren't any cliffs around here," Wyhm said, pulling back just enough to smile at her.
Anna's sobs lessened a little, a she fell to a mix between laughing and cry, wiping at her eyes. "Would you value me?" Anna asked softly, her sobs finally subsiding to sniffles. "Would I even matter to you?"She shook her head, "Never mind. Don't tell me. I don't want to know."
Anna looked up at him, her green eyes wide, still shining with tears. "Wyhm, please tell me you're not lying. I don't know if I could take it." Her lips moved, as if she would say more, but couldn't find the words, so she just turned away, her heart pounding.
Wyhm gripped Anna's chin and gently made her look at him, "C'mon, why would I lie about that? Anna, you're gorgeous, funny, and nice. I promise."
Anna reached up to take his hand, pulling it away from her face, cradling it in her own. "You think I'm beautiful?" Anna asked, looking up into his, unbelieving. She had always just been a pretty girl with her wild orange hair and fair skin, the splattering of freckles across her cheeks. "No one has ever said I was gorgeous before."
