How are both of those books? I've read Obsidian and really loved it but still haven't read Onyx... As for Article 5, I've been meaning to read it.
I'm currently reading
and so far it's really good.

I have to admit, that I like both the books, but for some reason I'm a bit reluctant to keep reading on. I'm reading Article 5 on my computer and I always get distracted with different sites (read: goodreads). As for Opal, I have to say, I took a little sneak peak (by reading the last page) and I hated what was happening - it was just sooo painful, especially since the fourth won't come out for a very long time, so I'm a bit frustrated and afraid to read on... Any tips?

Well, one of the risks of reading on the computer is getting distracted. As I have yet to find a proper solution (short of disconnecting the net and keeping it off until I finish the book) for myself I'm kind of useless on that topic, sorry xD
As for Opal... one of the reasons I have yet to read Onyx is that I've heard Opal ends on a torturous cliffhanger. My plan is to get Opal but keep from reading it until the next one comes out, since I can't handle such endings xD
Considering that you've already started reading this might not really apply to you...
LOL. I guess in the end I've got zero tips?...

So far, I'm not really into it :/ It's a good book, but something about it doesn't compel me to read in it. If anything, I need to force myself to read it... :<

It's too bad you're not enjoying Across the Universe. I really love it and it easily became a favorite.
Stick with it. It really is an amazing series. I am so excited for Shades of Earth!

I totally agree with what you're saying. If I knew it would end like that (the most awful cliffhanger I've ever read) I wouldn't have read it because you're not the only one who can't handle such endings. They are just blooy awful!!! So to be honest, after taking that little sneak peak -wich I still regret taking- I've just stopped reading the book (I've read half the book) and past month I've just seen the book lying on my desk and everytime I see it I can't help but think: "This is such a shame... I should really finish that book". But since that's way to depressing I've decided to just not finish the book until I have the fourth :)

Ohhh! Awesome, these are all books I'm dying to read (and will read, soon :>)
How'd you like them?
Ohh, you stopped reading? Really? That's a shame, but I get you. Personally I know I can't stop reading a book after I start (unless it's way awful), so I don't start. Like Mark of Athena - I've got the book, I'm dying to read it and the Percbeth reunion, but I can't cause of the cliffhanger.
So the both of us just have to wait until... Well, until 2013 ends.

Finished The Iron King
. I think many readers here will like it. Even though the heroine (do you prefer hero?) is half-fay, it's not as bad as it sounds. Faeries are almost like elves, which are cool. There is also some cyberpunk and Shakespeare characters.Currently reading Help! a Bear Is Eating Me!
because it has a funny title and is probably not horrible.

It's frustrating right... I repeat your 'ARG'
Well... the Bear book was weird. I wouldn't recommend it to readers in this group.Need to decide what to tackle next out of this list TBR 2013 so suggestions are welcomed.

I guess I don't have much of a choice now :)
Will finish

by Maggie Stiefvater. I put off reading this book for a while because I didn't think I would enjoy it but I am really kicking myself for not reading it sooner.

The Book Thief is fantastic and I also recommend Soulless for some good fun. I am also going to read Shades of Grey in the near future Jasper Fforde is one of my favourite authors.

. I like the main character. Will now start
since I was double-compelled.I will then probably read
.
feels a bit heavy. I decided to save the "heavy" books for the last quarter of 2013. Or maybe 2014?Re:
- would you recommend reading
first?

@Esther: Apparently I'm just optimistic. I've started the second book thinking that, since it's told from the boy's POV this time, I'll enjoy it better. I'm half way through and I'm stopping myself from ripping my hairs off :<
Nitzan wrote: "@Esther: Apparently I'm just optimistic. I've started the second book thinking that, since it's told from the boy's POV this time, I'll enjoy it better. I'm half way through and I'm stopping myself..."LOL I rarely have the stamina to continue a series I like.
I was given both Eragon and Eldest but disliked Eragon so much I gave away Eldest without reading a word.
