Ricardo | 56 comments That trickle down economics has been used in America since Reagan`s time and has failed. It is not coincidence that since the same time inequality has grown across the country.

Robert Zwilling The only republican president who stood up to the system in recent times was Gerald Ford. He refused to give the nuclear power industry a blank check to use in case of damages rendered for whatever reason. Ironically they never really recovered their original momentum inthe US until people started thinking that nuclear reactors were green power generators. James Lovelock, co-founder of the Gaia hypothesis has come out in favor of nuclear power. Just goes to show that you never always know what people are going to do just by virtue of who they are.
