ok, remember how i had to email lucas about r status or whatever? well this morning first period he seemed, i dunno, tired? i thought nothing of it. number one a friend of mine (well call her R) was talking to me, number two i still felt really awkward about the email. but then he seemed, i dunno irritable or something. i thought he had had a bad night or something so i didnt comment. then he doesnt wait for me. like at all. he ALWAYS at LEAST waits in the HALL for me after class. i wonder if i had said something. or done something. to make this all worse, ast night i had a nightmare that he had heard a rumor about me that wasnt true and beilieved and got mad at me. so i stick it through french next to my friends trying not to think about it. but in humanities (my nxt class) he goes to to sit ovr by the guys. this may not sounds wierd but it is. that was where he sat at the beginning of the year, as we started hanging out he began to sit by me, on my side of the room, near the door. i sit next to him wondering why he started sitting here again. then he barely talks to me, barely looks at me. no. whenever i glance at him he looks away. so im a lil depressed thinking i may have ruined my only chance at well anything, best friend or more. then at lunch he follows me in and sits down beside me. for some reason he doesnt get lunch. i offer him some of my food but he declines. i feel kinda awkward cuz of how hed been acting all day. then i finish and am about to leave but hes still sitting there. (btw he has barely said ANYTHING all lunch and seems lost in thought) and ask, "You coming?" and he shakes his head and says he'll be along in a minute. I go and kinda wait outside for a while. then walk slowly towards advisory. and wait some more. he still hasnt come out. im feeling hurt, and sad, and pushed away, and guilty about messing up again. i head to the library and try to read away my pain. the populars show up to bug me and comment on how lucas isnt there and i look sad and honestly it made me want to just shrivel up and die. i finish the chapter in my book and leave for advisory. lucas hasnt gotten there yet even though hes always early. he FINALLY shows up and doesnt even say hi to me (im RIGHT next to the door). instead he goes over to talk to some boys he has repeatedly said are annoying. im hurt. he comes up and stands behind me to see what im doing. i smile. i had sent him a story id been working on for english. he said it was good and goes and sits in the front of the room, where he never sits. im in the back. i put my stuff away and just fiddle around. eventually i put my face in my hands not sure if i can take the idea of losing him. i mean hes my best friend and it was me who probably ruined it. then we do a game in advisory or whatever (pictionary) and his hand like completely touched mine when he was passing me the marker. im still not sure if the was intentional. he seemed a bit happier then. idk. during science (our final class) i sit nxt to my friend (well call her P) and she says i look sad so i explain quietly. she nods. lucas has already set his stuff down at another table. he picks it up and moves it to our table. he smiles at me and i feel a LOT better. ok. so we still r friends. im just having a crappy paranoid day and talks and makes me laugh and laughs a little himself. and now im STILL waiting for him to email me on our status! ugh. drama.
