I'm loving all these lists. Several books are making their way to my wish list and some things I already own are being bumped up on my TBR pile.

3.) Stephanie Plum Series - all 14 in one giant volume
4.) War of the Worlds
5.) Chronicles of Narnia
Let's see...this is intriguing...I think I'd bring these...1. The Artist's Way (a great staple for reigniting my creativity...oh, yes, and I'd also bring a journal and pens.)
2. Wuthering Heights since this is a book I want to read next.
3. Jane Eyre
4. A dictionary
5. Sex and the City...(I'm curious how the book began my very favorite show)
3.
I also would recommend Valley of the Dolls...The Bible
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe
The Complete Works of Shakespear
Norton Anthology of Poetry
Life of PiTime Traveler's Wife
Pillars of the Earth
Firefly Cloak

The Box set of Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series
1.The Bible2.She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb

I would take:

Watership Down by Richard Adams
Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen
A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking (maybe I'll actually finish it if I'm on a deserted island)

Wow...so many options. I might first choose large books that would float if needed to make a raft? If not...1. Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy O'Toole - always good for a laugh at someone else's expense
2. Anne of Green Gables - one of my all time favorites!
3. This I Believe - for inspiration and messages of hope
4. Complete Curious George Collection - My son and I are reading this together and I cherish every minute!
5. The Sunflowers - recently read this amazing book on forgiveness and consider it a life changer!
