Yes...in my head I imagined that Isabel came back to Minnesota, or they meet again in the future. and in an entirely different world I also imagined that Cole ended up with me :P
plus the ending was like a promise that they would soon meet.

I know I seriously wanted them together. Cole was the most unique character and they would've made an awesome couple. It killed me when I thought he died.

Yeah, I agree. I liek my movies to be accurate, but it was such an obscure, open, unsatisfying (pick any one of these adjectives) ending that I would be okay if they added some perspective on it. I think that is why Maggie Stiefvater ended the wolves trilogy the way she did, so we (the fans) could talk and theorize about what happens after the book ends.
