Rachel, we are the same page. I love western heroes, especially when they are edgy. Western historicals are especially favorites of mine.
I also agree that charisma and personality have more impact than good looks. I'm not real big on pretty boys personally.

Yeah, Sean Bean does die a lot in movies.
Gerard Butler also tended to die a lot in movies before recently.

Poor Sean Bean! I've never noticed he dies in every film he's in. Should have been a dead giveaway/spoiler for fans of GOT. Haha!
I think my first dangerous hero was Cole Clayborne from For The Roses by Julie Garwood. He was the reason why I was glued to that book with his messy self. Love him!

He was downright, dangerous, delectable, decadent and delicious and I had no idea anyone could write that way. Of course, writers have delved deeper today than that book ever did, but believe me when I read it, my eyes were bugging out big time. :)

Fil, I've re-read it many times and he's still as HOT as ever! :)

I still have my copy too! :)

I read the book about the daughter too, but I can't remember the title either!

there is a youtube video of all the Sean Bean death scenes edited together....LOL

In high school I really liked Anne Rice so Lestat, of course. And I read the Buffy books, Angel is a dangerous hero.
