Lise It occurs to me that Malkuth, which Dedopolous compares to "the Greek concept of Hades" could just as well be compared to the Buddhist ideal - existing only in the moment. Isn't that why people meditate, to get into exactly that state?

It also reminds me of the beginning of Rene Descartes "Principles of Philosophy". Before Descartes gets to 'I think therefore I am' he explains why there should be doubt of existence at all. We perceive the world through our senses, but senses can be deceived. How do we know anything at all from first principles...

I'll keep at this at least a page or two at a time...
