BBC: Sherlock
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! If I have to wait any longer for season 3 to come out I am going to start shooting walls! I may have to take a holiday to England in March...
Just to add my totally irrelevant 2x worth. I greatly enjoy "Sherlock"—the best new series in years, but the 3 ep per year timeframe totally bums me out! Hopefully series 3 will see the light of day before the end of 2013.
Yes, it's SO fustrating. If you haven't watched it yet, there's a pilot version of episode 1 on the DVD extras for series one. :)

Best Of Anderson:"Anderson, Don't talk out loud, you lower the IQ of the street." -Sherlock Holmes
"Yes, thank you for your input." -Sherlock
"Brilliant."
"Really?"
"Yes, brilliant impression of an idiot." Sherlock & Anderson
"Anderson, turn your back, you're putting me off."
"My face is??" - Anderson & Sherlock

This is the only Sherlock Holmes show I've seen. I love it sooo much though. I'm also reading a Sherlock Holmes book.
Love, love, love this jazz. And it seems to be very good at turning BBC: Sherlock fans into Conan Doyle fans. I started reading the stories before I'd heard of this, but for a lot of people, this marvelous show was their lovely introduction. Pretty sweet.
Yes, I tried to read them after I saw the movies, but wasn't really into them, then when I was introduced to Sherlock, I got really into them now.
Have you seen the update for Sherlock BBC with the silly photo of Ben Cumberbatch and Freeman with grapes in his eyes? Hilarious.

I am. But not from tumblr though. From twitter. Funny as hell!

Sherlock looks so awesome!!! And yeah, Watson does kind of have a messed-up-ish head but STILL! MANGAAAAAA!
I just commented on the original group proposal that we could use a whole thread on this topic, so I'm glad you all are here. Love this series, and I didn't know how I would survive after Reichenbach. But now we know how everybody felt back in -- when? -- 1893, after "The Final Problem" appeared in the Strand. Probably the best thing about the series is all the cool references to the original, redone with a twist. And, for the record, I love the gay jokes. (I'm not sure I get Mel's last message. Love the quote, but don't know if it has some deeper meaning....)

I'm not sure if any of you've listened to Cabin Pressure? That quote is from there. The whole show is hilarious! And Benedict is in it but he sounds nothing like Sherlock :D
OMSOMSOMSOMS a Sherlock manga!!! Where??? Where can I get this????????????? Speaking of manga, my friend BJ drew and awesome manga pic of Sherlock the other day, he said it sucked but it was really awesome!

I know, I'm trying to catch up. Just wanted to say I can't agree more about "Elementary." It's in a completely different league from "Sherlock," but Lucy Liu is good.
Great quotes all, BTW. My favorite is:
Mycroft: I'll be "mother".
Sherlock: And there is a whole childhood in a nutshell.
From "A Scandal in Belgravia"

Ditto, to the quote. And if you add in the excellent way the two actors acted that short scene—double excellent.Of course we could also refer to:
Dr. John Watson: "Here to see the queen?"
[Mycroft walks in]
Sherlock Holmes: "Oh, Apparently yes."
@Emily I've just found this if you're still looking for them. :)) http://mangafox.me/manga/sherlock_pin...
@Sami
I'm a big fan of Cabin Pressure. XDD It's brilliant!
