I watched the first series yesterday and loved it.The cast is perfect. It's exactly how I'd like to imagine the characters (before now they looked like Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law in my mind). I have nothing bad to say about the series.
I'm looking forward to watching series 2 soon.

Martin Freeman. I knew him before - he was Arthur Dent in the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy film. Personally I like him. (I guess that was obvious from my first post)When I fist heard Benedict Cumberbatch I thought his voice was too deep. I got used to it fast though and I like it now.
I love this series!! and am eagerly awaiting series 3.I like all of the cast, except for the portrayal of Irene Adler- I think she was the only character who I didn't like.
I really like this series too. Stephen Moffat - fab!

I love is series. I love Freeman and Cumberbatch as their characters, this is wonderful.

They haven't even started filming yet!! :( :( HURRY UP. I'm really hoping they use Seb Moran in the next episode. There's rumours he's been cast but I don't know if it's confirmed.

Mel the BBC Sherlock season will be on in the UK sometime in the fall of next year. Lucky you guys I life in the states it wont be only till early 2014 for us.

I love the modern day Sherlock. It's disappointing that we have to wait so long for a new series but at least it's because the main people are involved in other great projects like Dr Who and The Hobbit.
Martin Freeman is playing Bilbo Baggins and Benedict Cumberbatch is the voice of Smaug the Dragon.

Yes, Gandalf only mentions him once in the story so it will interesting to see what they did with that plot.

Sad day the producer said they won't start filming till March but that it won't affect air dates
