Two versions of Neal Stephenson's Quicksilver

There is a note on the book that Quicksilver is only 1/3rd of the original book.I'm looking into the audiobook though.
Actually, I just noticed there seem to be multiple versions of later entries in the Baroque Cycle as well, so there may be good reason for this duplication. I could be that all that is necessary is a better explanation of why the two different versions are included.
Yep, there is.According to notes from librarians on GR and the Wikipedia page for the series - the series is comprised of 8 books originally published in 3 volumes. The volumes were later split up into their own parts and re-published.
Thanks. I don't see that information anywhere on either of the pages for the two entries, but I'll chalk that up to my inexperience with the site, as I've only been poking around here for a week or so.

As far as I can tell, the two books above are really the same book, and should be combined. If not, it seems there should be some note of explanation somewhere describing why they are different. The 2nd one seems to be for a paperback editions of the first one and an audiobook version.
