Why do my reviews not show up?

I got a message from a reader who enjoyed my novel and reviewed it on her bookshelf. The review does not show up on my book's public page.

I then looked a review of a book on my bookshelf and noticed that it, too, does not show up on that book's public page.

Why is this? If I want my review to be public, do I have to post it separately on a book's page instead of on my bookshelf?

BTW, I did log out so I could see the page from the public perspective. Nothing. And I waded through several pages of the book that I reviewed. Nothing there either.

Book pages are heavily cached. Reviews from non-friends will show up after about 48-72 hours.
