I really enjoyed getting back to Cat and Bones. There was just the right mix of romance and action. In fact, I think this was very swoon worthy....when Bones told Cat he'd love her no matter where they were, I melted. I also liked that Cat finally decided to be honest about the depth of her feelings for him.
I didn't read the Night Huntress books that were published before this one and honestly, I feel like I missed something. Yes, circumstances were explained, but I still missed having the whole back story. I'm going to have to go back and read those before continuing with the last book.

Finished my shelf read! :)
Shelf for Sept 16th:Kick Ass Heroine
Book Chosen:The Good, the Bad, and the Undead ~ Kim Harrison
Date Read:September 19 2012
Rating:♥♥♥♥
Review:As usual Rachel Morgan is up to her oh so famous witchy ways. Book two the the Hollows series was an action packed ride from the first page to the last, and I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to continue on with this series.
I just love all the characters Ivy, Jenks, Trent and Nick all add a great mix of character relationships that are at times very funny and also very tense. The action was non stop and I found myself reading late into the night will little regard for my work schedule...lol
After not reading this series for about 6 years and picking up book two felt like meeting up with old friends that you haven't seen in awhile and can't remember the reason why you stopped talking to them in the first place. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series :)

Would you read the third one anytime soon? I was reading them for a buddy read but we never ended up reading the 3rd one.
I think i'm going to start the next book right away but i'm waiting until the next shelf is called in the hopes that it will fit the shelf so maybe we can set something up to have like a mini bingo buddy read once we see the next shelf
thanks now I'm working on getting my free space book finished before the next shelf is called I should have a review for you guys Saturday sometime :)

This was a great beginning to this series. I thought it started off a little slow, but once it got going, boy, was it going. I literally could not put it down for the last 100 or so pages.
I think there is more to Luce than Daniel and their friends have told her. There has to be some reason she keeps being reincarnated and finding him other than just him being a fallen angel. And after that cliff hanger cryptic ending, I KNOW there's more to Luce than her just being a random girl.
I'll be reading the next one in this series very soon.
