Now, I really need to get to bed....

Vampire Shelf finished: 10/15/12 5 stars
I loved this book! It has been on my to read list for awhile, but wasn't in any real hurry to read it, I'm so happy I saw it on the overdrive account, I didn't know what I was missing. I loved her personality and her banter with everyone. Loved Adam and Warren!

You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'Free Space'.

Yeah, that is one of my favorite series. Mercy is great. She also wrote a spin-off PNR series with Charles. If you want to read that series, make sure you read the short story Alpha & Omega first. It is in

Book:The Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James
Rating:★★★★
Date: 10/17/12
Review:While I really liked this story, I didn't really like the main male character. Theo had every reason to be upset, but instead of dealing with it, James leaves - for seven years??!! I know he was young, but that part pissed me off. And the way he handled things when his father died, again childish and selfish. Things moved along very quickly in the end, when he finally grew up.

Well.... I personally would have read them based on their release dates.

Review:
**** there are spoilers to previous books *****
This series just keeps on delivering...
Gin decides to take a vacation with Bria, Owen and Finn, but she just can't escape the Spider as Bria's best friend is being threatened to sell her restaurant and the cop's can't do anything about it as the vampire owns most the town. Gin gets in over her head, but fights her way out. Lots of great action and heart and Donovan makes an appearance.

I'll have to move it up the to-read list.

I think I'll go with Dead Witch Walking

I've heard good things about this series... and it has the added bonus of being in the pile of books that's right in front of me on my desk :P

Review:
Oh my.... I think this is my new favourite YA series. I love the characters. I love the action. And I love how nothing happens just how I expect it too.
Rose is such a strong and competent heroine and yet at the same time a little bit bitchy and acknowledges that she's not perfect. I loved the banter between her and Adrian as well as the strong friendship she shares with Lissa.
It's a good thing that I bought all of the series at once because I started book 4 as soon as I finished the last page of Shadow Kiss...
Not a very long or detailed review - I never know what to say when I really liked a book. I have a tenancy to fan girl and just get a bit gushy... so I thought I'd keep it short and sweet.

Review: I am enjoying this series. This was another quick fun read. I did get a little confused at the end because things happened so fast. I didn't like the way Saer treated his "Beloved" or the way she accepted it. Previous books have made the Beloved so very important that it didn't jive with this.

Review: It was really good! Kylie is one awesome supernatural in my opinion. I wonder what else we'll learn about her in the last book.
Poor Kylie though.... She has so many things to deal with at the same time. It's kind of crazy. Boys, ghosts, her supernaturalness, and more.... I feel for her.
Ugh.... I didn't realize the next book,

Review: OMG!! I love this series! The action, romance, and mystery of it is perfect.
Mercy and Riley are just fantastic. I loved them together. I spent a lot of the time going "Aww...". I think them together will be awesome for the series.
Now that all the cats are paired up, I'm excited to see what pairings happen next. I already have

Oops sorry! I added it in the review above.

I had a question about a demon book would Borrowed Ember be ok? On the 2nd page of the genre 1 person has listed it as demons (and it wasn't me), wasn't sure if since you could easily add it yourself if it needed more then 1 person to list it that way.

I think I liked the first one a bit better, I just got into the first one a bit faster, but I think this one probably had a better ending, although found a bit of it anticlimactic . I think I just wish she would have worked with either Adam or Samuel more, although I like Stefan to. I'm not necessarily a Samuel fan but I really hope he comes out of his funk, I like having his character in the book and would hate for him to go back.

Like the new avatar CaroB :)"
Thanks Sandra:-) I missed this last week!

Review:
This made me wonder why I left it so long to get back to this series. Loved Lore's story, poor guy couldn't seem to catch a break, and Idess seemed truly kick-ass yet good to the core. Fantastic story, though I'm wondering how they're going to keep the background tension going without Roag. I'm not sure if it was the mood I was in or if this truly marks an improvement in the author's writing style, but the banter seemed less stilted and the action well-paced.

Review:
I really liked Carrow and wished I could have seen more of her with Ruby and Malkom in the real world. I also wanted to know more about what happened to some of the others on the island. Personally, I thought the book was about 75 pages too long with most of it being really long seduction scenes as Carrow got to know Malkom. I understand they didn't speak the same language, but it seemed like the only communication was sex-based.

Review: This is a hard one for me to rate. I disliked so many things about this story. I loathed how Sybil gave in about the money. I disliked how weak she seemed when it came to anything to do with Colin, and yet her temper, for all it was supposed to be flaming, only ever got her into trouble but never seemed to work to get her way. I hated how Colin kept everything from her for so long. And yet... the story did suck me in, even if there were more than a few eye-rolls at the end.
