Did anyone expect Dally to die?

I didn't!! I was reading the book in 7th grade! I was with my mom. I read the the line that said, ''he was dead before he hit the ground'' and I didn't read it again until another 2 weeks. I was so upset. He's my favorite.

I love Dally but after Jhonny died I knew he probably would....
I did expect it. Johnny's death was the one that shocked & upset me most.
I honestly did not know he was going to die. I thought he was just going to go crazy but when i read he died i was heartbroken 3
I thought it was coming I think parts of the store foreshadowed it. I was more shocked that they killed off Johnny than Dally!
I never thought Dally would die, nor that he would lose it. I mean I read the book when i was in 7th grade, and it totally shocked me
I expected Dally more so than Johnny. Johnny seemed to nice and good to kill off, despite the accident. It seemed like that would ruin the story. However, it didn't at all. Still one of my all time favorites!
