Thanks! I'm listening to it as I'm writing a review. Foundation, another one I've been wanting to read. Can I squeeze in another book club commitment, can I? LOL.

Normally, I end up putting together playlists for each book that I read, normally comprising of film scores and "classical" music. I made a huge one for Hyperion that was made up entirely of 19th century music.I'm over halfway through the book now and it still hasn't gripped me enough that I want to come up with a playlist or a selection of albums.
But, I would suggest Jerry Goldsmith's scores for Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Alien. Also Bernard Herrmann's The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Nice choice, thanks.
While I was reading Foundation I liked to get into the "Galactic Empire"-vibe, so I actually listened to a lot of the Mass Effect soundtrack: http://open.spotify.com/album/3f4qclJ...
Some of the more ambient tracks really sets the mood well in my opinion.
