Baron Greystone | 15 comments Are they recordings by the author? I don't normally like audio books, but I'd love one by Ellison!

Baron Greystone | 15 comments Ah. Google informs me that Mr. Ellison has been a busy little beaver when it comes to recording his stories. I'll have to look into that. Thanks!

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 6 comments Skyboat Media has done quite a few things with Ellison. Stefan Rudnicki & Gabrielle de Cuir are both fans & two of my favorite narrators. They do some really great productions like Ender's Game which has the author & some others performing the parts. Their production of The City on the Edge of Forever: The Original Teleplay had a lot of the original cast & production crew in it, too.

They're getting subscribers for a variety of audiobooks. You can find out more about this here:

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 6 comments Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse was fantastic - a truly unique collection which amazed me since I've read a lot of post-apocalyptic SF. While Ellison didn't write any of the stories, he did narrate one. My 4 star review is here:
