please be careful.
if it is the exact same copy, then the double should be deleted.
however, some books in indonesia (and all over the world actually) are reprinted with different cover but the same ISBN.
such cases shall be made into alternate cover edition.
and I also remember a thread mentions separate entry for different page count(?) or other details.

We prefer that you ask, rather than delete valid entries.

but you are correct, krystal, it's best to ask when in doubt.
btw, here is the first discussion I was aware of different entry for different page count:

since then, i already saw some other threads mentioning alternate edition entry for different page count.

I am not sure because two of them does not have ISBN. I try to to search online, and I found several entry of the same ISBN but different publish date. I cannot find the website of the publisher also.
It will be very helpfull if someone really have the copy of the book and check.

However, specific for Pram's book, I suggest that you check/ask the members of this group:

they may have the physical copy of each print year.

THIS is the correct edition but the Paperback has no ISBN's and it is also linked correctly. How do I fix this? I cannot because I am not a super librarian so even though it has one rating (The WRONG book listing) . Can a Super Librarian help me?

OK I deleted the ISBN info on the wrong book and added it to the right book but the duplicate book needs to be removed.

If there are duplicate entry with the same ISBN, but in detail data are showing different publishing date, should we delete it?
In my opinion, books with the same ISBN should have the same publish date. The second, third and the following printing should follow the original publish date, not the printing date.
Is that so?
