Consequences question

Wow, hard question. Is it bad that part of me wants Tony to make up everything with Claire? I mean obliviously he can't for what all he revealed at the end,but it really seemed like she had gotten through to him and that he was a tortured soul. Yes I'm a sucker for the dark and demented coming into the light and being saved. It really seemed like he had made progress then in the words of Emerald "BAM" everything goes to heck.
The biggest thing that I want to see in the truth is Claire's name as well as her brother in laws name cleared. I want Claire to end up happy and as many books as you are able to crank out :-). I really enjoyed this book and am pins and needles waiting for what is next.

I just finished this book....OMG, I am speechless. Wow, i am with natalie for some reason and, i am completely not sure why, I want to at least have Tony to at least admit he really did have feelings for Claire. I knew there was going to be some twist at the end but that was not the twist i envisioned. I was actually almost sick, literally. I was even still sad that they ended up not making there relationship work, I know I'm a crazy. WoW great book.

Yeah I honestly thought that Tony cared for Claire, but his actions towards the end put a lid on that. Im a romantic and maybe sort of twisted so I would have liked to see them get back together, however with everything that has happened i am unsure of how that will be possible.

Yes consequences affected me BIG TIME, i had a range of emotions most importantly anger and wanting to slap some sense into Claire for being so weak and not making an attempt to run.

I want Claire to team up with Sophia Burkes, who will probably be under Tony's thumb by the time Claire is released from prison. They need to bring him down! (I am still very angry that Tony sold Claire's grandmother's pearl necklace!) As for HEA, Tony took that from Claire when he killed Simon. This book is one of the most thought and emotion provoking books that I have ever read! Keep them coming!

i want them to get back together and for tony to be the one manipulated. he can't get away with murder hence the next book 'convicted' but i wanted him to love her. mad i know! but the more i think about it, which is a lot. the more i think up scenarios to hurt tony. i can see his empire crumble and ends up with nothing like his grandad.because i think he forgets that he created the consequences Claire had to deal with and now he is going to have to face them too and i don't think no amount of money is going to save him. he is already starting to lose the respect of the people who work for him; it's only a matter of time before others follow.

I want Claire to "nut up" and take that kidnapping, beating, rapping bastard down...in the first chapter. Then I want to read about how she got exonerated and lived a happy life with (guess not Simon)someone else. I'd love to see Emily and John okay too.
I would also be fine with Soph beating the hell out of him.
Wow. Love the author. HATE TONY. I bet he was hard to write about.

I keep asking myself is it possible to have Stockholm Syndrome if you are not the victim??? I found myself wanting Claire to behave and I expected Tony to change. I think the next book Claire finds her strength and I think Sophie will assist her in her revenge. I also think Brett and his wife will assist Claire.

I'm really surprised that anyone would want Anthony to be redeemed. Did we forget about the "accident"? Claire must get her revenge. The only way I would want them back together is if it's part of Claire's plan in bringing him down. There was too much violence against her to give "them" a HEA. Please give him hell!!!

I finished this book an hour ago. 46 minutes ago I responded to the question asked by the author as to what I wished happen to Tony. After writing that i discovered the name of the next book is Truth and the third book's called convicted. So naturally I tried to find out more about Truth. Guess what? POTENTIAL SPOILER:Under bookie nookie's review in the similar genre section it says Menage! reading the first chapter posted on Aleatha's page, u learn that Claire gets mysteriously pardoned. Well I had wished for a dues ex machina but the benefactor can easily be Catherine, Tony himself and/or [as alluded] a third party! Please tell me there won't be a Sophie/Tony/Claire menage! Because that would just be INTOLERABLE.

I hate it that I want Tony to have genuinely loved Claire albeit in his own twisted manner. But I do! And menage just ruins that! I want Claire to find a new love interest who's strong enough to stand up to Tony and I want Tony to be Tortured.

I was done with Tony when he almost killed Claire. Now he needs to go down...but not before Claire gets some revenge, on his heart and on his body.

Claire needs to 'nut up', as one clever poster said. Gal needs a spine.

Consequences,wow, wow!! i hated Tony what a huge asshole i wanted to beat the shit out of him, and i hoped throughout the whole book that Claire would grow a spine and finally leave or attack Tony and then leave!! i can't wait to read truth i should be starting tomorrow!! i want Claire to finally get her revenge and very slowly and unexpectedly destroy him from the inside out!! i want him to not know what's going on until it's to late!!! as for Sophia i want her and Claire to team up and when he loses everything show up and they tell him everything that happened, i want Claire to finally get her HEA even though she annoyed me with her weakness in the first one!!

I finished this book like 10 minutes ago. I still can't get my heart under control. So glad I wasnt one of the readers that 'fell in love' with Tony. I hated the motherfucker most of the book but definitely after he almost killed her. Sweet revenge is what I hope for in Truth. I am very afraid that isn't what we are going to get tho. I am afraid she will end up 'in love' with him again. Makes me want to vomit!!!

I don't think there can possibly be a HEA for them as a couple, too much happened. How would she ever relax around him or trust him? I'm sure she could possibly still love him after everything but it could never be the wonderful happy ending.

I want the HEA. I know that sounds nuts, but we had a glimpse of in love Tony, and I liked him. Why is he so damaged? So demented? Can he ever really change? Can Claire love him still after all of this? Yes it's possible but it is a huge ask.
