I just finished reading "The Invisible Bridge." What made this book unique as a Holocaust story was its focus on peoples' lives in the years leading up to it. It made it seem that it happened so gradually that people could be fooled into staying there. For the first time, I understood why more people didn't get out while they still could.

This is an amazing book. I just finished it and i feel like i will miss the prescence of Klara and Andreas in my life. It's full of sorrow but also full of hope. It's a book i will definitely recommend to others.
