As soon as I woke up the name of the book was stuck in my mind. I really wanted to know what this book was and who was Maisy Camren tie into me. There must be some connection. I thought about it throughout all my classes. I knew little information about her but I needed to know more. That very night I went to the restricted section to look at that book and actually read it. Even though I would never read something like it. I needed to know more about Maisy Camren. I walked through the corridors as quietly as I could and I was walking in the shadows. I felt a certain presence around me. I stopped walking and I held my breathe I heard a very quiet breathe behind me.....

" BOO!" yelled Sirius breaking the suspenseful moment." Sorry to burst your bubble but james enlisted us to help." i shrugged my shoulders and started reading the best beauty spells Volume 4 removal of warts. " To remove small moles of a 1 cm. diameter or more chant Remmovius MoleBeautifius! Your mole should have been gone, but if not repeat or use the other mole spell"
As I was reading the book I just couldn't take it anymore. There must be something more about Maisy Camren. That book was just downright ridiculous. I put the book back and was extremely irritated. There had to be more to her. I had to find something. I was just about to leave the restricted section with sirius and all of a sudden I saw a book called Dark secrets by M.C. I couldn't help but feel intrigued those were Maisy Camren's initials. I picked up the book and walked out of the restricted section. Sirius had a strange look on his face. What's that book for? He asked curiously. It's just another book, I answered back. I just didn't want Sirius to tell James of the book. Then James would try to help me analyze the book but would end up distracting me and he can't focus. I just wanted a little quiet time to analyze the book. Times like this I wish I still had Severus as a friend.
Secretively (and illegally, I might add), I hid the book under my cloak when none of the boys were watching.
When we got back to the common room, the boys yawned loudly and retired to the stairs; all apart from Remus who just slumped into one of the red velvet chairs. I bit back my irrational need to go to my dormitory and read the book under the shrouding covers of my blankets. Remus was miserable. His hair seemed to have thinned and his face bore premature age lines on his forehead and his eyes. But where the creases were...they weren't smile or frown lines...
They were pain lines.
Somewhere, sometime recently, Remus had been in a state of utter pain and stress.
He ran his fingers through his thin hair, I saw a few strands drop from the seemingly gentle motion. I went over to sit by him.
"Remus, there's something you're not telling us," I said with nothing but pure concern. He turned his ashen face toward me, his grey eyes dull and defeated.
"I'm fine, really." It's that weak smile again. It collapsed after a few seconds and he broke. He held his head in his hands and breathed shallowly.
"Remus?" When he just answered with a groan, I gently shook his shoulder. "Remus, I think you need to go to the hospital wing." He shook his head vigorously.
"I'm fine, Lily," He said muffled "just a little under the weather..."
"No, Remus. This isn't just 'a little under the weather', you're sick. Let's go." I tried to pull him up, but he resisted. I pulled up a pouffe and sat in front of him.
"I'm not leaving until I can find a way to help you."
He raised his head to look at me then and smiled almost apologetically.
"Tell me," I said stubbornly.
"Lily, I don't think that's a very...safe idea..."
"Okay...is there any way I can help?"
"No." I thought for a moment.
"C'mon, Remus. It's me. Lily. Just tell me what's wrong."
The creases that lined his forehead and eyes dented for a moment, then he relaxed and he said something so quiet that I had to get him to repeat it to me again.
"I'm a...w-werewolf, Lily." In my dumbfounded stupor, I said something...well, stupid.
"Are you sure?" He let out a short expulsion of air that I assumed to be a sort of surprised laugh.
"Yes, Lily. I'm positive."

I took what seemed to be an eternity to look for hints of a rather ridiculous joke on his face. None. Could this be real? I mean one of my friends(rather one of my boyfriend's best friend)is a warewolf? Does James know this? if yes why didn't he tell me. Does he not trust me to keep secrets? I had to jolt myself right back from the wayward road my thoughts were taking back to Remus. "Does any one know about this?" He looked up at me "One can't survive such a plight without someone to support Lily.I have been lucky to have James and Sirius. They know and try to help me in anyway they can. They left me because you were here. They must be waiting to hear your footsteps to your dorm and then come down and spend the entire night suffering with me in my plight." His faced looked more drought with each word he spoke. We heard some heavy footsteps from the boys dorm and what i could clearly say was Sirius trying his best to speak in whispers "Come on James! Lily would have left for bed. She was too preoccupied to read that book she thought she took without me noticing. The first thing she would do is trot to her dorm to read it." he paused "or she will ask him whats wrong, he will chant his usual reply, and then she will be gone thinking him to be a lone Wolf.. (giggle)" The giggle dried half way on noticing me in the common room sitting in front of Remus. "Hi Lily!I see you haven't retired to bed yet." Sirius was trying to come up with something else but all he could manage was a feeble, embarrassed smile. "Did you say Lily!!" with quick trotting steps down the stairs came James and froze when he saw me there."Lils..."
The silence was awkward. But not entirely bad. Remus looked a little happier; whether it was that I now knew or that James and Sirius were there, I don't know, but he brightened a little.
"I told her, guys. Don't look so...uncomfortable," Remus said with a sigh. A tension I hadn't noticed suddenly lifted and we all smiled a little.
"So..." I started. "You're a werewolf." It wasn't a question, just a conversation starter. Remus seemed a lot more comfortable now.
"Yeah," he said "since I was little. My parents tried everything they could to change me; charms, potions, hexes, jinxes, everything. But this is permanent."
"Wow."
He nodded. "That's why I miss school every month for a week or so." I rolled my eyes.
"Of course! How did I not notice?!" Sirius snickered and I saw his eyes flicker to James, then back to me.
"I think you were...preoccupied," he said breathily as he laughed. My mouth opened into a small o.
"Wha-- no! I just wasn't..." Words seemed to have absented me.
"Don't worry, Lily," Remus laughed "I never expected you to notice." I sat down on the pouffe again.
"Four years!" I said under my breath before returning to the conversation.

that is ah-mazing! how have you hid it?" I inquired
when we went into town.......
I would go to someplace secluded to become a werewolf so I wouldn't harm anyone. Then Sirius and james turned into animagus to keep me company because they knew this time of month I couldn't stand to be alone. He gave a sweet smile to them.
"So you all during this time of moon become a different creature?"
"So you all during this time of moon become a different creature?"
"Well sort of," James said. "You are aware of the term Animagus?"
"Vaguely..."
"Well, simply, we can transform into a certain animal at will. We do it on the full moon because...we never really need it otherwise..." I was momentarily startled.
"Do you get to choose the animal?" Sirius and James snort in laughter.
"Sadly no. I'm a stag, Sirius is a big black dog."
"And...why is that funny?"
"Because Peter wasn't so lucky." The three exchanged smirks.
"He's a..." James started.
"A rat. He's a rat," Sirius finished with a small snicker. I grimaced, that was a little unlucky.
"I guess it's good for tights spaces..." I said thoughtfully.

"Ya I guess," James replied
"So how did you guys become an Animagus, I find it quite interesting." All of sudden shock overtook my emotions. "Wait a minute aren't you suppose to be recorded if you become an animagus. I remember coming across that in our studies."
They all looked shocked and frozen as if no one knew how to respond to my sudden outburst.

:(okay then...each to their own.
"And you're underage!" I shouted, the shock wave still rolling about. "That's...extremely unwise!"
James looked at me in his shock of my shock. We were all very shocked. "I don't know why this surprises you, Lily. I mean, we are some of Hogwarts' common rule-breakers."
"Yeah," Remus chipped in. "Plus, you ain't gonna rat us out, are ya?" Peter twitched. "Sorry, Wormtail," Remus added, laughing.

James clapped me on the back,"Cheer up Lilly!" he said,"No harm no foul!"
Looking back at my writing from a couple years ago, I am quite ashamed.
