Emma I find that a lot of people are really irritated by this book, particularly the way it ends, and it got me wondering what people's most disappointing or hated endings were?

message 2: by Cocopretty (new) - added it

Cocopretty Shadow heir by rachell mead worst ending ever

Elizabeth Day Um I don't know not many endings of books were that bad. The Swiss Family Robinson was just plain horrible in my opinion... but I think the only thing wrong with the Mockingjay ending was that it was too rushed. That's the only problem, really.

Storm anything but typical, wonderfull book, not such a good ending...felt too rushed, however i have no problem with mockingjay :D

Julianna I really didn't like the Inheritance (by christopher paloni) ending, but i also think everything at the end of vampire academy ended too perfectly.

I LOVED the mockingjay ending, it is the best ending ever in my opinion. It was the perfect mixture of everything working out but there also being a price, and plus there was the epilogue so it got wrapped up nice and neatly.

Tina J The Lovely Bones.

I hated that book so much because of the ending!
Susie had a chance to come back (if only for a little while) she could have told someone where her body was AND who the killer was.
But she was too interesting in getting it on with her crush! Just plain stupid!

She could have given her family closure and she could have had justice for her death, but she was too selfish.....and for that, I also think the book was unrealistic!

Hated the book with a vengence!
I didn't even want to give a star, but there has to be some sort of rating on this site. lol

The movie wasn't that bad, but the ending still made me angry!

I never got round to seeing the film of this book. I'll have to check it out.

Lovely Bones had totally slipped my mind, but you're right. It did slip from heart wrenching family based drama to teen book pretty quickly there.

Luna Belle Pris Stardust by Neil Gaiman. So anticlimatic. The movie is better and gives you the ending you deserve which is nothing like book. I think Gaiman made a bad ending to mess with us just because we expected something good to happen.

Gabby Hmmm,

Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1) by Jessica Spotswood Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins

Fatin Inheritance just sucked overall for me. It was written terribly .

Chrysalids, by John Wyndham. I hate open endings.
