Katy (kradcliffe) Hello! I was looking for new groups to join and this looked like a good one - I love the idea of my to-be-read list growing even faster!

I'm an American living in the Western Highlands. I am originally from Cincinnati and spent some years living in San Francisco and Philadelphia before marrying and moving over here.

It's very rural and rainy so I do a lot of reading. :)

Flannery O'Connor once told a ladies' reading group that they'd "fry in Hell if they didn't stop reading trash." I try to read "good" literature. There are so many classics I still haven't read! I have been trying to add some modern and contemporary literary fiction to my diet, recently. Sometimes I like a bit of junk food, too, but I try not to indulge too often.

Anyway, I hope to meet you all and exchange recommendations with you. xoxo

Robin Lamont | 20 comments Hi Katy - Are you anywhere near Oban? Took the family on a "heritage" trip to Scotland a couple of years back. (My last name is Lamont - good old WEsternHighlands clan). I love Scotland, despite the weather!
