Jenn I definitely need to read this book. Scott Deschamps was one of my instructors in college and I remember him telling us this story!

John Humber Really? Excellent? You certainly don't NEED to read this. Some people are in a plane crash not very far from civilisation. They spend a night in the cold; they are rescued the next day. I can see how the experience was a significant event in THEIR lives but as a book it's pretty uninteresting.

A much better read, if you like the survival genre is Survive by Peter DeLeo.
