1. I would think it is a MEMOIR
2. In my mind I am thinking World War, couple meets, fall in love, and takes us on their journey.
3. I am not a fan of Memoirs, so I would be a little bored (again I assume I would be) but then I would be Intrigued because I am a sucker for romance.

As for associations/subject matter/genre....I would probably think it was either a look back at the WWII era or someone's memoirs.
Personally that title lacks lustre for me.
It has no definition.
It's not eyecatching.
It doesn't intrigue.
It is nonedescript in that it merges into too many undefined grey subject areas.
You know your book.
Make a list of twenty strong words that decribe YOUR book and not a few thousand others and then play around with them putting 1 to 4 words in different orders until you have a second list of twenty possible titles.
Then put that list back up here and ask people which title would intrigue them enough too click buy.
Remember that the best titles as short, succinct and intriguing.

One more thing about your title "The Story of Our Days"
It is really very redundant....what is a book if it's not a story?

A memoir, or maybe something chick lit. Something along the lines of The Help
--what associations would the title have in your mind?
Not my thing. Probably wouldn't grab my attention.
--would you be bored, intrigued, or something else?
Honestly, unless it had a SPECTACULAR cover, my eye would probably glance right over it in a book store since it doesn't really jump out at me.

I just came across this from Michael Alvear you may like to ponder about titles
"Simply put, if you’re trying to reach me—the online book browser-- don’t make me work to figure out the meaning of your title because I’m not going to take the time to do it."
Very sage advice

A book title tends to be, maybe, two words long. No-one really expects to be turned on by that alone.
Think of the film Taken, with Liam Neeson. It's just a word, and it 's only when you see the posters of it that you actually get interested in it.

--what subject matter/genre would you expect?
--what associations would the title have in your mind?
--would you be bored, intrigued, or something else?
Thanks!
