Random Tidbits
Some of the tidbits I know we already know such as Set is Rezar, but this is where we don't have to go "I think I remember", this is book and pg # for sure.Since Polly, Ash and Stryker have silver eyes, I thought it was interesting that Set has *gold* eyes.
I know there was discussion about Cronus (Chronus?) being a titan and primal, so this was intriguing for his family tree. Especially important since he's got that sword under his bed...
Dark Side of the Moon's tidbits are especially intriguing. Sav appears able to still see Nick's future (wife & kid?), and whose the 2nd DH under Stryker's power?
What exactly did Dev say about Nick being immune?

So does Dev know something about Nick, or is it just sarcasm/teasing?
I think he was just teasing. I don't think anyone really knew something was off about Nick. Not even Ash when he was messing with people's memories. Everyone just assumed that he was too strong willed and stubborn.
I thought Cronus and Chronus were two different beings. Cronus was the father of time while Chronus was the titan
dangit couldn't finish. Chronus was Zeus's father and a titan
I meant to imply there were 2 C(h)ronus/s.And since we know there are time/information fluctuations happening, that's why I added the Nick tidbit in.
Something else to remember about Set/Rezar, too: You'll come across it eventually, but Set's eyes change from blue to gold, depending on his mood (gold does not mean good mood) ... and Rezar's eyes are described as green, according to his profile on the official site.Interesting, isn't it, that blue and gold make green? =)
Well reading Sin's book last night his eyes are described as gold and topaz.
I wonder which grandfather Kat's referring to in Devil May Cry. Since she's talking with Ash, and he refers to his parents it sounds like her paternal grandpa, but we all know Zeus is a awful being so it could be him too.So does Kat know who her biological grandfather is? Or is she thinking it's Archon like most beings do?
In the story Shadow of the moon, what did Sav. mean "my demons"?

If he does he is keeping that well and truly to himself. But given how under wraps she tried to keep her relationship with Ash at times, I doubt many know about Kat. As she often played her off as one of her handmaidens.

Cause I know he does have some demons obviously that Misery female demon and I think even Asmodeous. And there was a time he was talking about his father wanting him to join up with him. It's when Savitar is talking about getting rid of the weapons that made the katagaria lion into a pure animal, unable to mentally communicate or ever turn human again.Clearly it's been too long since I read some of these books that I don't remember Sav. having demons to do some of his bidding.
Bad Moon Rising we met Misery I believe. Cause she was all about tricking Fang for a time. And I think in Dream Warrior where we come up with Amosdeous. But yea I'll have to re-skim Shadow of the Moon as I don't recall that too much, hmm. I mean I know the scene you are talking about. But forgot what particular demons he meant in general.
It didn't say anything other than the line I quoted. If it had been Thorn, or a god (or even a human since the Devereaux girls had been referenced to summoning demons as kids) I wouldn't have thought twice. But Savitar, the god killer cthonian having demons to command?
Ooooooooh I totally misread that then. I was thinking of Thorn instead of reading Sav. Totally and uber sorry about that. But at the same time, we don't know all of Sav's past so who knows who or what he commanded back in the day.
Charontes are originally from Lamuria (Savs homeland)he also taught Kody how to control charontes

Yeah, I'd say that was simply teasing. And you know, re-reading Sav's response ... that's likely a reference to those GEICO cavemen. ;)
Well since we know so little about Sav, I figured I'd add it to the tidbit for future reference if it was teasing mixed with truth.We know Sav is 11k+ years old for sure, why not a million years old (or more)?

Cause even the most powerful of characters are a blip on the radar of all existence. ;)
A tidbit I didn't add in but is kinda interesting is Ash thinks about how glad he's not the oldest being at his wedding since Sav is there, but Takeshi is also in the audience and Takeshi taught Ash how to fight after his god powers unlocked...And isn't it interesting that Takeshi & Jaden are Ash's 2 weekend gaming partners for the paralyzed kid?
I love that so much. I mean seriously folks can say what they will about the overall stories being cheesy fluff. But these books truly have dudes of true worth in them. I mean "sexy" isn't always defined by the most badass tortured past. But sometimes by doing the gaming with that boy. Or even helping out with coaching basketball like Ash and Talon do.

Oh I have 2 word files (timeline and tidbits) and an excel file with character name/s, species, and a few notes to say who they are.

Actually good example...In Upon the Midnight Clear we learn the name/s War/Polemus, then in One Silent Night, War is released and I didn't realize I might've had War in my name database already.
And I think Apollymi's mom is actually just that. A natural primordial version of the Source that created the Atlantean Gods.
This stuff is confusing! Its a good thing we're addicts :)
And have awesome peeps willing to break it down and straighten it out for us too.

This isn't really a blooper, per se, except that fans keep mentioning it. Jericho's hair is white blond. The definition of blond is pale or light- gray and white as well as yellow are all considered blond. So his hair is white-blond.

War--or rather, Polemus--is a different god than Pallas, the god of warcraft.
So Jericho is the son of Styx and Pallas. =)
Where are you pulling the name Pallas from?

Far as I can tell she's a goddess not a titan, but if Jericho is a Titan it seems likely she could've been too. (Jericho was also referenced as being a god so I guess Titan = god)

Styx and Styxx are two different people. The first is female, the second is male.

Pg 164 states Styx and Pallas are Jericho's parents. So War/Warcraft is now also known as Pallas.
That would be correct, Pallas is the god of warcraft and Styx is the goddess of hate in the Greek pantheon. =)Now, Polemus--who we saw in One Silent Night--is one of the Machae, which are the spirits of battle. Basically, he is the spirit of war (hence the name 'War'), and he is capable of killing gods. Unlike a Chthonian, however, he doesn't lose power whenever he does so.
Styxx--Ash's brother--has an extra 'x' to denote the masculine version of the name; a single 'x' denotes the feminine version. =)
