HOW DOES EVERYONE RATE THE BOOK AND WHY?

I gave this book a four (4), and thought our author did a really good job of writing and personalizing what a hard and difficult challenge the characters had. Going to write more later.

Like Carol, I also gave it a 4. (I have a whole review available at http://sharingtheshelf.blogspot.com/2... that I'm too lazy to retype).

At times, I thought Kelly tried to fit too much in, and the fairy/historical/etc. stories got tiresome, esepcially in such a long freaking book, but over all I thought it was well done historical fiction.

Cheryl | 134 comments I GAVE IT A 4 ALSO. I WAS NEVER REALLY BORED WITH THE STORY EVEN THOUGH I WANTED FEWER STORIES OF THE FAIRIES AND MORE OF THE ACTUAL HAPPENINGS FROM THE HISTORICAL STANDPOINT. I LIKED THE CHARACTERS, AND I LIKED THEIR SPUNK.
