So far, so good. This is a reread of a series I read over 10 years ago, and this time around I'm growing to enjoy reading about a wider set of characters. It's sort of nice to know that my literary likes have expanded rather than merely shifted.
I'm surprised at myself. I had forgotten the ending completely! I guess in this case the journey was more memorable than the destination (not that the destination was bad)?
This is my all-time favorite series. Tad Williams is by far my favorite author. He writes the story "as it actually happened" rather than how he wants it to go. (if you know what I mean - his stories don't seem contrived) I've read the series 3 times. I own them all. Glad you liked them as much the second time around!

(And now, off to read!)
