Personality: Mason has always been and probably will always be a loner. He doesn't care for many people, and he's been known to push those he loves away. It's natural for him. Like breathing. He's very obviously rough around the edges, and any interest in being friends with him will probably seem like a moot point at first. He makes enemies easier than he makes friends, quite simply because he doesn't come off as the friendly type.
For those of who that do manage to get past his defenses, they'll find that he's actually a pretty sweet guy. He can be romantic and flirtatious and fiercely protective. The only love of his life, he claims, is Emery, his younger sister who he will do literally anything to protect.
History: Mason was a pretty normal kid before the accident. He grew up an only child, his parents divorced, and he got a step dad that was less strict than his actual father. Having a step father that allowed him to go to parties and supplied him with alcohol when he was just fifteen created a monster of sorts. He drank all the time, let his grades slide, but nothing anyone ever said could sway him. He got involved with an older girl, about seventeen, who he partied a lot with. She was into drugs and hard liquor, he was into beer and cigarettes. They had a pretty passionate relationship up until the night he got into the car with her after a party and she drove into a tree. She died on impact, Mason was hospitalized for three months, but had no lasting effects from his injuries, aside from some rather severe headaches from time to time and a bit of insomnia, though he was never told if it was related in any way. Since then, he's been isolated and has quit drinking. He still smokes though. He doesn't talk much about Hannah - the girl who was killed. He doesn't like to remember.
Skills: He knows how to start a fire and is pretty decent at building forts.
Weaknesses: He can't quit smoking, and without his cigarettes he might become fairly cranky. He's too hard on himself and others.

Yes, I know she's young, so bear with me, age her a bit in your mind.
Personality: Emmy is probably one of the sweetest children you will ever know. She has that amazing ignorance to any bad in the world because her older brother protects her with such passion that she doesn't exactly have to deal with people being mean to her or things that would typically scare a child. She loves her older brother and is very attached to him ever since he started being so protective of her. She refuses to let anything or anyone get between her and Mason... Especially another girl.
History:
Emmy is the daughter of Mason's mother and step father, so technically his step sister, but she doesn't know the difference. She hasn't had too much going on in her life, being nine and all. She was scarcely old enough to remember the three months her brother was in the hospital, but sometimes she claims that she does, though most hardly believe her. In truth, she does have some fuzzy flashbacks to seeing him in bed with his eyes closed and a tube in his throat helping him breathe. The early days. Those were the days that scared her. Ever since he came home, she's been protected by him and has grown attached. Because he can't sleep at night, they tend to have late night bed time stories that he tells her, or he's the one she runs to when she has a bad dream. His accident is what has made her become more attuned to his problems, and has brought them closer than ever. And she loves him for that.
Skills: The kid is a fish; she loves to swim and is pretty good at it too. She can make a pretty mean sand castle, and is good at listening in to other peoples' conversations.
Weaknesses: She's a scardy cat. She's afraid of spiders, storms, sharks, you name it and the kid is probably afraid of it.

Rosie is a bubbly little girl and she loves to know what's going on. At times, she believes she is the centre of the universe and is known to be quite argumentative. She believes that she is always right and doesn't always listen to or take advice from others, meaning that she gets herself into a world of trouble. She's likeable, but can come off as quite annoying and petty. Although she is all these things, most people can't help but love her. Rosie is the type of girl who you can't stay mad at for a very long time. She's intelligent and is creative when it is needed and she loves to make others happy in any way that she possibly can. She's kind, innocent and sweet, just the type of girl who everyone loves!

Personality: Cameron is a pretty quiet and enigmatic person. He likes to keep to himself, and he likes to put a lot of thought into whatever it is that he's thinking about that day. He adores reading and learning as much as he can, and retains a ridiculous amount of information. Thus, why his friends called him "the enigma" for a good portion of his youth, though it faded away once he fell in love with music. He's still an amateur, but he can sing fairly well, and loves playing his guitar. Sometimes he writes music, but admittedly he really has no inspiration, other than his adoptive younger sister Lily.
History: Cameron was adopted when he was about six months old, given up by his original mother because she was too young to be able to support him on her own. He grew up thinking he was the natural offspring of his parents until he was about nine, when it was accidentally revealed by an uncle of his that he was adopted, and so was his younger sister Lily. He got over it pretty soon after he was told that his mother was too young to care for him, not that she didn't want him. He still wants to know who she is, but doesn't push it on her.
When he was ten he started taking guitar lessons, which added to his voice and passion for music. He's continued playing, but mainly to himself.
Skills: He's good at remembering things. He likes remembering things. It's kind of a problem of his really. But he used to watch a lot of nature shows.. So he remembers a lot of survival technique.
Weaknesses: Cam trusts way too easily. He likes people almost instantly, which causes for him to be betrayed rather quickly as well.

Personality: Marc is energetic and fun. He is a big tease and jokes around all of the time, but can be serious if he has to be. He is very sympathetic and kind. He is very easy to talk to, he is the kind of person that after an hour, you feel like you could pour out your heart to him and he would listen and sympathize and be completely understanding. Once you have earned his trust and friendship, you will never lose it.
History: His parents died in a car accident when he was 12, and he has lived with his grandparents on their farm ever since. He has always loved the outdoors, and hated school because he was always wanting to be outside instead of in a classroom. So when he was 13, his grandparents started homeschooling him, and he spent a lot of time outside, helping his grandpa with farm chores, and exploring the woods around the farm. His grandpa took him hunting and fishing, and they would go on several day campouts in the woods, and he taught him a lot of stuff about survival; living off of food that you can find outside, starting fires without a lighter or matches, knowing direction based on the sun and stuff like that. So he is very outdoors-canny.

Michaela grew up with her extremely rich father and older brother. She was spoilt and overly protected from the world, but that all changed - now she makes the most of life and is grateful for everything she has.
Michaela will try to talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable, and is a likeable person herself.
History: Michaela's glamorous mother died when she was an infant, leaving her with an older brother Thomas and her father. They lived in a huge, comfortable house, but because Michaela's father had to move around for meetings they never seemed to stay there for more than a year at a time. Michaela's grades were getting lower as a result of moving around, and her father suggested that she leave school and be introduced into his buisness.
Michaela was all for it before one day while in a small café in Venice, a man approached her with a picture of her as a child. He was her mother's brother, Timothy, who had left home at just fifteen and was rarely seen since.
He talked for hours to Michaela for hours, and she told him about her intentions. He talked her out of it, telling her it was a big mistake.
After spending a lot of time with Timothy, Michaela learned more about what she was missing - a normal lifestyle. Timothy had left home with not a lot of money or possessions and showed Michaela how he survived, with a steady job and a shared apartment.
Michaela realised how hrrible and manipulative her father was to other people and moved to Venice with Timothy, where she's lived ever since, leaving her father and brother behind.

Personality: Bryson is very, very quiet. He rarely ever speaks. He's a very kind-hearted person and will make people feel good about themselves even if he doesn't speak to them.
He'll open up to people that he really likes.
History: Bryson grew up in Australia with two loving parents and five siblings: Arial, Cameron, Drew, Ella and Fadila. Like the alphabet, Bryson is the second-oldest.
Every winter, Bryson and his family went to Malta to get some sun. The winter he turned sixteen, Bryson's sister Ella got lost and the whole family searched high and low for her.
By the end of the day, they hadn't found her, so Bryson's parents alerted the police.
Their departing flight was scheduled for the day that a police officer found Ella. She was trapped in the back seat of a car with her hands bound together, and she was banging on the glass for help. Her kidnapper had left her in the car while they went into the nearby shopping centre, as it seemed.
This really shook up their family and since then Bryson has been very protective and silent.
Skills: ~He's helpful and intelligent

~Bryson never lets an argument escalate to a fight - he's very good at resolving them.
Weaknesses: ~He is very quiet and doesn't communicate very well.
~He can't tolerate spiteful, nasty people. He'll turn very bitter towards them, and even though he won't react to taunts or threats he'll make sure they know how disgusted he is.

Personality: Yi is quiet and kind. She easily lets people push her around because of her quiet nature, but if someone pushes her over the line her whole personality changes towards that person. She is cold to them. She works hard at learning and at her work. She is extremely smart.
History: Yi's father died when her brother and he were young. Her Step mother was left with them and when she remarried, Yi and her brother ran away. They worked hard and were saving all money they made to send Yi to any college. Yi's brother was very protective of her and usually stopped people from pushing her around.
Skills: She is very smart and tries her best to please others. She avoids people she dislikes to avoid fights. She is fairly strong for her size.
Weaknesses: Yi is quiet and gets pushed around a lot. She doesn't voice her opinion.

Personality: Aaron is extremely protective of his sister because he knows how easily she gets pushed around. He is headstrong and stubborn (The complete opposite of his sister.) On the other hand, around his sister and females he might find attractive he is happy and cheerful and cute. :3
History: Aaron's history is the same as his sisters. They stayed together and he works hard so he can send her to college.

History: Hatsuyuki grew up with a pretty good history, she didn't get in trouble often, her parents were the nicest people on earth and everyone was nice to her. She had always had issues getting along well with other people though. She would get extremely anxious when meeting someone new.

Weaknesses: She doesn't know a lot about life - she's completely oblivious and has only ventured outside the walls (or hedges, as the case may be!) on a few occasions.

History: Cordelia has lived a very lonely life. She lived in a three-storey house enclosed by hedges and rosebushes, where her parents kept her within the area. Cordelia hasn't experienced any of the outside world, except for her hous eand gardens.
As an only child, Cordelia was home-schooled and had very good ettiquete. She thinks herself to be an intelligent girl who has had much experience, but really she is arrogant and oblivious to the outside world.
Some poeple become annoyed when they listen to her talking about how wonderful her home is, and how much she knows. But some, noticing her innocence and obliviousness feel sorry for her and show her kindness.

Appearance:
Maz is what could be described as pretty. Her limbs are long and willowy, and she always seems to be graceful with her movements. She is lean, yet her body is musclular, her stomach flat and her posture composed. Her skin is coloured to a bronze shade, her hair long, silky and the colour of chocolate, and her eyes almost like black onyx's. Her facial structure is well defined, large, full lips a small, slightly upturned button nose and high slashing cheekbones. She stands at 5'1, and her body is absolutely covered with scars, open wounds and bruises, although she has become relatively accustomed to the pain of them.
Personality:
Maz is quite the firecracker, and wears her title proudly. She wont take rubbish from nobody, and wont let herself get pushed around. She is very focused, knowing what she wants and how she is going to get it. Her temper has gotten the better of her many a time and that mixed with a pure stubborness doesnt exactly bode well for a good outcome. She is also painfully blunt, probably due to her history, and has a very cynical outlook on life. Her humour is dry, and she uses sarcasm all the way. She is sharp tongued, especailly if somebody rubs her up the wrong way and she isnt afraid to comepletly ignore a person if they purposley wind her up.
She may seem like a horrible person but these are just walls. Barriers to protect herself against pain and hurt, both of which she has already experienced first hand. If you manage to have a full conversation with her and work hard at becoming friends with her she will slowly lower those walls and you will see a complete shift in attitude. She will become more caring and helpful, not to mention fiercly loyal of that person in particular.
History:
Maz's early life is somewhat of a mystery. She can vaguely remember a pretty woman, whom she suspects her biological mother was and a man who she has gathered was her father. But apart from a few bleary memories of the 2 of them she can't recall much.
From the tender age of 5, Maz was placed in a foster home. From there she bounced around from family to family realising that the only reason they were fostering was because of the money, that was the case of all the families she met. She wa treated like dirt, pushed around and was a modern day slave to most of her fosterers. It was nothing to bad, just like mild bullying.
But then, at the age of 12, she was put into the care of a single, middle aged man. At first things were ok. She was treated better than wih her previous homes and she was under the impression that this place would be different. She was mistaken.
The abuse began after Maz had been living with Peter, the man, for around 6 months. It started with punches, followed by kicks and then full bearings including the belt. And then she was violated in the worst possible way. Anything would set Peter off, maybe his tea was to hot or his bacon was overdone.
Maz quickly realise that she wasn't supposed to be treated in such ways, and made an attempt to escape only to be brought back by Peter himself and then tortured to the brink of death. She stopped trying after that, she have up on life altogether which would explain her personality now. She was still imprisoned by Peter before she woke up on the island.
Skills:
✓Knows the best ways to survive. Such as how to make shelter, where to find food and whats ok to eat ect.
✓Can create herbal cures for illnesses or wounds.
✓Never gives up.
✓Can run quite quickly and has a great stamina to match.
✓Not afraid to get her hands dirty, will help out with hunting, cooking, creating shelters.
Weaknesses:
✗Her temper. She will easily snap.
✗She's petrified of bugs. Spiders and Wasps in particular, although she doesnt come across in this way.
✗Her bluntness. She doesnt try to be mean, she just hasnt had much interaction with other people, so doesnt really know how to 'sugarcoat' things.
✗Her stubborness. She is very strong-willed, this could be classed as good or bad, depending on the situation.

Personality:Rainbow is just like her name-unique. Rainbow is not your average girl you will see walking down the street,she is very eye catching by her very expressive colorful wardrobe and also her personality. Rainbow is also very very youthful and is always willing to explore anything new,she is as eager as a young child when it comes to new things. Rainbow like her parents is very free spirited and care free about things. She sees everyone as a brother and sister;so she is very kind and accepting. Some people may be even taken aback by how she is around people seeming not to care about much and how she is so easy going.
History:Rainbow isn't the only one in her family who is really as unique as she is. It actually just how her parents wanted her to be. She is just like them in there ways and fits in just fine. Rainbow never really had a permanent home she and her family where always out and about. Her mother and father were always traveling the country with rainbow in there Volkswagen That's what Rainbow was used to and she loved every minute of it. She liked how she was able to travel all over with her parents care free. She thinks she was the luckiest kid in the world and would never trade it for anything.

Personality:Lilly is a rough and tumble kind of girl always looking for thrills. She has a very fiery personality and can get annoyed easily. If someone is bothering her she will tell them straight telling them what she doesn't like about whatever there doing. Lilly also usually has an attitude with most people and doesn't really care much what people think. Basically she is a rather rowdy girl.
History:Lilly grew up in the rough part of London,East London. Most people wouldn't want to live in East London especially with a family but they did. In East London she grew up with her father and mother. Her mother worked two jobs to provide more for the family as her father was always off trying to find jobs. Lilly noticed her parents seemed to be arguing more lately and one day when her dad went off he never came back. He left Lilly and her mother alone. But luckily they managed but her mother was far to busy with her jobs to really look after Lilly. So Lilly mostly learned from the streets and the people on them. Because of this Lilly kind of went with the wrong crowd of people.
Skills:
-Very good at fights especially fits fights.
-Is good at starting arguments.
-Good at finding shelter.
-Also very skilled at judging people and if she should be with them.
-Good at firing rude comments.
Weaknesses:
-She can be very very prideful seeing shes only right and no one else.
-Her anger and frustration sometimes gets in the way.

Other:Because of living in East London her whole life she has a very prominent Londoner accent. Lilly is actually a very smart girl and when she was accepted to a Private all girls school she was later expelled a week later for punching a girl in the face.

he's a little young looking but more or less...
Personality: Kirby is one that loves action. His favorite stories are those of pirates and adventure and impossible missions. He would never put down a chance for excitement. He has a excellent imagination and sometimes goes off into his "own little world" where he's either fighting pirates for treasure or saving the world from aliens. Kirby is also very curious. He asks many questions that often irritate people, but he really can't help it. Despite this, Kirby hates to see people upset and will do whatever he can to cheer them up.
History: Kirby had what would most commonly be considered a "normal" childhood besides traveling between parents' houses. When Kirby was 4, his parents got divorced and he started to notice how sad his mom was all the time. Soon after he saw a superhero movie and decided he wanted to become a superhero so his mom and all other sad people wouldn't be sad anymore. He thought he would go on all sorts of adventures and save people. He soon grew out of that fantasy, but his want for happiness and adventure never left.
Skills:
Kirby is very brave and his great imagination can help him get through hard times.
He is great at cheering people up.
Weaknesses:

History:Anais was always taught to keep her head high and not to stoop to other peoples levels. She took that she was only supposed to hang out with the popular children and lived her life like that. All through High School she was on of the popular kids having her own table full of good close popular friends. Everyone around her where like her the in crowd and thats how she liked it. Being Team Captain on the Cheer leading team did help.
