I'm currently watching the first season of Numb3rs, but I didn't watch the very first show because of the topic. Was it just me, or does Rossmo's formula look really impressive?! =) I thought it was really funny how he tested out of his math course in the second week of the semester with 100%! Genius. :P
We are actually renting the DVDs from NetFlix, but you can also just watch them online (at the website posted by the group name). It's so much fun to go back and see how it all started! Charlie is really different, but in a good way! :)
Oh, okay! I was just a little curios.

Miss Clark wrote: Favorite chapters were on game theory and cracking the casino/ card counting, etc. Those were very interesting chapters, as was the Bayesian filter chapter. And I liked in the appendix how they broke down the math used in each episode.
I decided that this book only needed one discussion topic. So you can use this topic to discuss any chapter or idea in the book. Note on the comment above: I just copy and pasted Miss Clark's comment on the general discussion topic into this topic.
