I wasn't so sure if I was going to like this one. I loved the romance so much between Raphael and Elena in the first book I was afraid this would fall short. I was wrong instead you see the bond between them grow stronger. What I love so much about these books is that the line between good and evil are blurred. I can't wait to read the next one.

Review: I really enjoyed the storyline on this one! It is pretty cheesy and sappy, but I like those things in my books. This was an interesting take on soul mates, and the characters are very well drawn. There are quite a few typos, and it sometimes felt like a fanfic in the fact that there were a lot of unnecessary scenes (in my opinion). Despite all that, I had a good time reading all of it, even the unnecessary bits. Caleb is a total dreamboat of a boyfriend, and Maggie is a very likeable heroine. There were parts of it that felt a bit Twilight-y, but hey, I like Twilight so that was fine with me. Kyle is a bit Jacobish, and that made me dislike his character intensely. I found him to be extremely pushy and selfish (quite like how I felt about Jacob). I'm looking forward to seeing where this story will head now that both Caleb and Maggie have ascended. Really interested to find out about Caleb's powers.

Review: Wow finally I read a book this month that I really liked , I loved loved Lee , he was a frank and honest hero for a change and Indy wasn't TSTL(she was a bit on my nerves a bit though ) . I was ready to quit reading romance but this one changed my mind .

I hope that it's over, I've been giving 2 or 3 stars to whatever I read.

I'm planing on reading her books in publishing order, that was her book first published book. I don't mind them being on my nerves as long as they redeem themselves by the end

I liked the first book but I had some problems with it. Like I got sick of her constantly mentioning her special blood and it driving vampires wild. I swear almost every page she had to mention it. Hopefully it doesn't happen much in this one LOL

This book is so refreshing!! it's not like any other vampire book with romance. There is girl likes a boy going on, but that's all and a girl is a vampire for a change. The world the author is build up is more lilke dystopya and there is a virus that makes humans monsters, plus vampire life is not that glamorous.

Let me start by saying the cover whore in me loved this cover. But beyond that this book was just meh for me. I enjoyed the first book a tiny bit more. But as with the first there were things that just ticked me off.

In the first book there were some sexy sex scenes but in this I swear every other chapter was some overly detailed sex scene. I'm not a fan of sex scenes. I find myself flipping through most of them.

I love me a kick-ass heroine. I love that Riley is unique and has a dark a gritty past. She is not angel and has done things in her life she is not proud of. That being said why does every kick-ass heroine have to do it in 6 inch stiletto boots and mini skirt?!?!

I'm in a real debate on whether or not I'll read the next one. With so many good books on my TBR list I'd rather not waste the time on something that most likely will be meh.
