Almost done my book. I'm at 78% and should finish the rest of it tonight just before bed. Sorry I'm the slow one in the group :(

I loved Angels' Blood I read the first three books in 3 days!!!
Hope you guys enjoy it! Shosho, I'm with you...it was super hard to come back, and I am DREADING going back to work tomorrow. I'm a supervisor, and there is NO telling what my people have been up to in my absence!!
Why are you excited, ShoSho? What do you mean by the epilogue : "And she worked excitedly ever after" ..?
CaroB wrote: "Why are you excited? What do you mean by the epilogue : "And she worked excitedly ever after" ..?"The book that I'm talking about started with us coming to Australia 6 years ago and continued with all the stuff that are caused by immigration and top that with being newly married! we got married and decided to move to Au a little bit after that.
I'm leaving work right now have to get home earlier today and to get ready for the ceremony!
We'll be Australian citizens today.
CaroB wrote: "Why are you excited, ShoSho? What do you mean by the epilogue : "And she worked excitedly ever after" ..?"Gahh i'll die of depression if i work here my whole working life, i like to believe at some point in the future i'll change my job.
Woooohoooooo!!!!!
Awesome ShoSho!!! How exciting. Do you guys get a plant?? My husband got a tree to plant when he became an Aussie citizen a few years ago, from the local council. I want to say Congrats, but not sure if it's appropriate :-) I know it's not always easy getting your citizenship and can be a bumpy road, so good on you!

Thanks CaroB :)
It was a bumpy road and hasn't been easy but I'm happy now that we did it.
I think we'll get a plant. I'll plant them in the back yard!
Just finished the book. It is nearly 1am here and am typing this from my phone. Ill post review tomorrow morning when I wake up

Review: Oh my gosh what can I saw about this book. Number one I've found myself repeatedly asking why oh why I waited so long to pick it up and read it. To say I loved it would be an understatement.
With a unique take on Angels/Vampires Ms. Singh drew me in from the start. Throw in a yummy alpha male and I'm hooked. One of the things I loved was that it was a very sensual novel without being all sex. I personally do not care for in depth sex scenes or every other page filled with them. This was perfect as it wasn't till nearly 75% into the book that they finally did the deed. That build up of anticipation was just perfection.
I definitely plan on reading the next book in the series!
EEEEP! I just noticed my whole review is in bold. LOL well I'm getting closer to learning this whole thing. At least you can't miss my review
Melissa wrote: "EEEEP! I just noticed my whole review is in bold. LOL well I'm getting closer to learning this whole thing. At least you can't miss my review"Have you started the second one yet?? It took me about 10 minutes to start no.2 after finishing the first!
Post updated http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...Laura are you still reading Spider's Bite or have you changed your book?
no worries about the whole thing being in bold, Melissa. I'd rather that than none of it being in bold :-)

Im still reading it...sorry im little behind with my reading :( with my friend visiting and i started french course yesterday
I'll say the 1960s ! I hope that the song has nothing to do with cops and killers ."Chapel of love" would be great .
I just got me a book that I'm really in mood for and dying to read, I hope I can somehow relate it to the next song.
Week 3: ♬ "Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Simon & Garfunkel (1970)Possible Links: ♬ Any book published in or set in the 1970s. ♬ Any book with the words BRIDGE, TROUBLE or WATER in the title. ♬ Any book where main character or author name is any derivative of Paul, Simon or Arthur (NB: If you manage to find one with a Garfunkel in it, there's a $5 Amazon voucher in it for you!). ♬ An angsty or emotional story. ♬ Any book set in a harbourside town or an island. ♬ A story set on a boat or ship or with a boat/ship on the cover.
Wow It's as if this song is exactly for this book, I just read the lyrics. It's like the relationship between "the husband and the wife" in
and it's angsty and emotional
Shosho, have your tissues ready for that one! I was crying SO hard reading it! But I think it's SO good!
ShoSho wrote: "Wow It's as if this song is exactly for this book, I just read the lyrics. It's like the relationship between "the husband and the wife" in

Yep ShoSho, just had a look at the Top Shelves for that book, and it's been shelved as "tear-jerker" and "angsty" so I think you're right, it fits in. Woohoo for you!
Susan (susayq) wrote: "Shosho, have your tissues ready for that one! I was crying SO hard reading it! But I think it's SO good!"Susan I've never cried reading a book, let's see if this book can make me do it
Laura wrote: "no i haven't yet :( i have been really busy, but i hope to get back on track this week :)"It's OK you'll get there
Any ideas what you are going to read this week ladies?
i have a question how many pages should a book have? i find a book that would fit this week but it has only 66 pages
