Returning to lake where their parents took them as little girls, they are all reunited. They deal with their own problems, problems between them and problems of their past.
I really enjoyed this book.

WARNING! Do NOT attempt to read this book at work unless you work at home, work with your SO or maybe in a adult store of some kind. Yowza. Also not a good idea to read some of it before going on a first date. Lessons learned the hardway. Loved it. Can't wait to read more of the series. I didn't read the short that came before it and didn't feel lost at all.

Review:
This was a good addition to the Lords of the Underworld series. I like the characters and the relationships between the characters but I did feel like this book felt a lot like the previous ones in the series.
I didn't understand all that was happening at first - I have since found out that some details that are relatively important to the series as a whole were in an anthology. I HATE when they do that... I'm not a fan of anthologies especially when they put pertinent series information in them.
I liked the romance between Aeron and Olivia. It was hot and they made sense to me as a couple.
I'm not in a rush to get back to the rest of the series but it was nice to revisit the warriors.

Kate, I agree with your thoughts on anthologies. Anthologies shouldn't have important info for the series in them...they should be a cute little side story that it doesn't matter if you read or not.

Review: I normally don't read anything sci-fi/time travel.Last winter was the first time I ever read anything in the time travel genre and it was "back" in time as this book was. To my surprise, I really enjoyed this YA time travel book. Caroline B. Cooney is a new author for me as I've only read (last month) one other book by her and really like her style of writing and the topics she writes about. The protagonist, Annie Lockwood is a hopeless romantic living in the wrong century. She truly belongs in the 1800's, which if I had to time travel that is probably the century I would want to visit too☺ Without spoiling it for anyone, Annie has the option to choose which century she wants to stay in but her choice is hard as she doesn't want to hurt anyone in either century. Overall this was a very well written, interesting, quick, easy to read sweet romance. I'm glad that I was fortunate enough to pick it up as well as the second one in the series!! Can't wait to read on and see what else is going to happen ☺

well we ended up first anyway. We've been first for 3 or 4 of the songs now. If we keep this up we can win this.

Review:I really liked this book!!! There was a good mixture of the genres...romance,suspense and mystery. It was a quick,easy, very good holiday read ☺ The characters were likeable with the exception of a couple that I didn't particularly care for. There were a couple of things that was left unanswered like what the criminal actually did which I really wanted to know. Being an inspirational/religious read with the involvement of angels it wasn't "preachy" and there were no hot steamy sex scenes either LOL. It was just a nice heartwarming holiday book filled with all the great feelings of family, believing in miracles and the Christmas spirit.
That was fast Robin. I found a book that I can use for this, the Hearts & Tears tournament in the SOS group and fits the anthology part of another challenge I'm doing.
I think how it fits is self explanitory.

LOL I needed that book for some other challenges and it fit here too!!! It was a quick easy read and only took a couple of sittings to get it done ☺

My book is moving along slowly. It's a good book, I just can't seem to get into reading at this point. But I will finish quickly.

I get those. I find the only thing that gets me out of the slumps is to read a completely different genre than what I usually do.

That's why I try to read different stuff all the time...YA,romance,paranormal,fiction...I bounce around a lot between genres LOL
When I get in a reading slump I just take a reading break for a few days and catch up on shows I've TIVO'd or movies. Usually puts me in the mood for a specific plot line or genre.
I might have to change my book. I can't find Hot & Bothered. I might have gone to the thrift store. I've been purging books.
You know what I am just going to switch to this: 
Muscle guy on cover and also on the 2009 shelf which I need for antoher challenge. And since I signed psy-changling series challenge back in January haven't read a single one: it gets me started on that too.
eta: from the description it sounds like he's the ex boyfriend coming back into her life. So it fits "boyfriend's back" for that as well.

Review: I truly enjoyed this book.
Tessa and Alli lost their parents, leaving Grams to be the strong one in the family. Alli and Sam married due to her becoming pregnant. Tessa stills loves Sam, but does Sam still love her? Their feelings are tested when Tessa returns home due to Gram's stroke. Grans kept saying "I can't die yet,I'm not finishing counting the stars'...i loved that part.
Gram hopes the two girls can find the last pearl in a oyster to the strand that her deceased husband started for her on their first anniversary.
Does Sam and Alli stay together? I can't tell you...but Grams does something amazing to let the one Sam chooses know that he truly loves her.
I have to admit this book brought tears to my eyes. Glad I read it.
Dislike: Although a few words were missing, the sapce where they were supposed to be was left there. Most of the time I could figure out what was to be said. Or close to it.

Glad you enjoyed your book Anna!!! I haven't read anything by Barbara Freethy...or at least I don't recall reading anything by her but have gotten a few of her books as kindle freebies. May have to bump her up on my list to get started on ☺ Nice Review!!!

I have been purging some books too so I know what you mean about some disappearing that may have went to the thrift store or gotten donated to the library. I got just recently got the first one to that series and I am anxious to get started on it. Hopefully in the next month or so☺ Enjoy Mary!!!
I hope your book is coming along ok too Kate!!! I just started that series and haven't even made it halfway through the first book yet lol I keep letting other books get in my way, but I guess that happens to all of us bookworms LOL
