Reading Environment

In my bedroom on the sofa. My dog always has to be snuggled up right next to me too, but before you go "Awwwwww" The little fur ball tries to knock my book out of the way so I'll scratch him instead. He ususally gets his way too. LOL

I usually read in my room snuggled under the covers with my cat, where there is peace and quite from my sisters. ;)

Ideal place to read is in a lounge chair with a nice cup of coffee. But honestly I'll read anywhere I get the chance.

I will read anywhere and everywhere but the ideal reading environment for me is either in bed or in a really comfy armchair with a snuggly blanket, warm socks and a cup of tea (I'm English - a cup of tea accompanies everything). And to top it all of, it's always a bit better when the weather's horrible outside!

You're pretty much describing how I read. It's usually on my bed with my computer playing music, sometimes rock or heavy metal sometimes classical or symphony orchestras... But if I really get into a book I can read just about anywhere. Mainly I like to be somewhere where people aren't going to distract me, if it's a good book I'm pulled into it and I totally block everything out but if it's not so good I find it hard to concentrate on the story.

I can read anywhere, but can't read if people are talking nearby (whether it's the TV or people actually in the room). Music doesn't bother me, but talking will jolt me right out of the story.

My favorite place to read? Outside on the back porch with my dog lying next to me.

Outside sitting on the swing (especially if it is a physical book). In the gazebo if it is too sunny for ereader or raining a little.
