Personality: Royal is not as stuck-up as his son. He is actually a very friendly, intelligent man who created the school to give children a higher education. Who needs math, anyway? Penelope is a very smart and passionate woman. She loves her work, and once she has an opinion, sticks with it and fights for her cause with all she’s got. She isn’t afraid to step on anyone’s toes, and thinks of social hierarchy as a big ol’ joke. People are just people, and as history shows, hierarchy has always been trouble-causing. She believes in her students, no matter how hopeless they seem, and encourage them to do their best on everything. That’s even how she grades. More on the ability of the student versus the peremiters of the assignment. She can be a bit unconventional, many people have called her crazy in the past. She doesn’t care though. They can think what they want, as long as she’s happy and content with her life, she doesn’t give a care to the opinions of others. She still has her childhood spirit, and thinks that its important for every adult to keep theirs, even just a little bit. Penelope is loud and proud, the kind of teacher tha most children enjoy having. She has a way of teaching that doesn’t just lecture, but takes each student back in time to their topic, allows them to explore every aspect of it. That’s what teaching is, though, isn’t it? Penelope cares for each and very person she meets. Her students, co-workers, friends, everyone. She would prefer the world without pain and sadness, but who wouldn’t?? Early Life
Penelope was born to a single mother. She was an unplanned pregnancy, but not her mother’s first. Penelope had an older brother, Peter, who was 5 when she was born. Right from the start, he took care of her. Their mother loved them, but didn’t have much in the realm of maternal instincts. She went through life how she always had, it didn’t change when she had children. So Penelope and Peter were raised to take care of themselves, and they were okay with that. All throughout school, Penelope was above the average grade level. She was bored in class, and always asked the teachers for more work. Yes, more work. It was a relief for he to enter high school, where she could take all honors and AP classes. She excelled in all of her classes, and teachers always expected her to take up a far more prestigious profession than teaching. Each one she had expeted her to go into work in their own field. Math, engineer. Science, physicist. Language Arts, writer. And so on. No one expected her to fall in love with Social Studies. But she did. You simply couldn’t tear Penelope away from her history books, she loved them and knew she had to pursue history in her career. She went to college for history and teaching.

Adulthood
After graduating college, Penelope went around in search of teaching jobs. She ended up taking one in Edinburgh for a few years, teaching eighth graders about the Roaring Twenties. But she became terribly bored terribly fast, (she couldn’t even swear!!) and went to look for a new school after just two years, She stumbled across Capitol Academy when she was searching, and applied right away. She was actually shocked when she was accepted for the job, and was overjoyed to come to Russia. It was just a new adventure to her. It is Penelope’s first year coming to the Academy, and she will be teaching Social Studies to her students.

Penelope is a very smart and passionate woman. She loves her work, and once she has an opinion, sticks with it and fights for her cause with all she’s got. She isn’t afraid to step on anyone’s toes, and thinks of social hierarchy as a big ol’ joke. People are just people, and as history shows, hierarchy has always been trouble-causing. She believes in her students, no matter how hopeless they seem, and encourage them to do their best on everything. That’s even how she grades. More on the ability of the student versus the peremiters of the assignment. She can be a bit unconventional, many people have called her crazy in the past. She doesn’t care though. They can think what they want, as long as she’s happy and content with her life, she doesn’t give a care to the opinions of others. She still has her childhood spirit, and thinks that its important for every adult to keep theirs, even just a little bit. Penelope is loud and proud, the kind of teacher tha most children enjoy having. She has a way of teaching that doesn’t just lecture, but takes each student back in time to their topic, allows them to explore every aspect of it. That’s what teaching is, though, isn’t it? Early Life
Penelope was born to a single mother. She was an unplanned pregnancy, but not her mother’s first. Penelope had an older brother, Peter, who was 5 when she was born. Right from the start, he took care of her. Their mother loved them, but didn’t have much in the realm of maternal instincts. She went through life how she always had, it didn’t change when she had children. So Penelope and Peter were raised to take care of themselves, and they were okay with that. All throughout school, Penelope was above the average grade level. She was bored in class, and always asked the teachers for more work. Yes, more work. It was a relief for he to enter high school, where she could take all honors and AP classes. She excelled in all of her classes, and teachers always expected her to take up a far more prestigious profession than teaching. Each one she had expeted her to go into work in their own field. Math, engineer. Science, physicist. Language Arts, writer. And so on. No one expected her to fall in love with Social Studies. But she did. You simply couldn’t tear Penelope away from her history books, she loved them and knew she had to pursue history in her career. She went to college for history and teaching.

Adulthood
After graduating college, Penelope went around in search of teaching jobs. She ended up taking one in Edinburgh for a few years, teaching eighth graders about the Roaring Twenties. But she became terribly bored terribly fast, (she couldn’t even swear!!) and went to look for a new school after just two years, She stumbled across Capitol Academy when she was searching, and applied right away. She was actually shocked when she was accepted for the job, and was overjoyed to come to Russia. It was just a new adventure to her. It is Penelope’s first year coming to the Academy, and she will be teaching Social Studies to her students.
