The relation between Jem and Emma?

I mean, on Cassandra's website, it says Emma Carstairs is the best Shadowhunter since Jace Lightwood. I wonder what the story is behind Emma and what is to come for Jem. Any ideas?

I have no ideas or theories on this one but I hope she is a direct decendant from Jem cause if Jem dies (which I hope he doesn't) I still want a little bit of Jem to live on :(

Well, it's not like Jem could have a child with Tessa, because she is incapable of having children, so that rules Tessa's descendants out, unless something happens in Clockwork Princess.

but that is if she is a worlock..but we dont know yet because her mother was a shadowhunter and it was supposed to be impossible for shadowhunters and deamons to have babies..Tessa is something new and never seen before
