Distopian that's not **quite** YA

So, I'm loving the distopian/apocalyptic romance angle, but I am so frustrated with the YA genre...getting a little tired of the endless teen sexual frustration and making out. Just do it already haha!

Can anyone recommend some good stories where people actually consummate their relationships instead of just feeling each other up - aka where the characters are a little more mature? I don't really need it to be explicit (though I can handle it if it is).

This made me laugh because I've said the same thing many times in the last two years. Seems like YA has saturated the market.

I think you'd enjoy my novel, Girl Under Glass. It's romantic dystopian/sci-fi and the MC is a 26-year-old mother. The love scenes are sensual, but not erotic.

Also check out Romance Writers of the Apocalypse (http://www.rwofthea.com), of which I am a member. You'll definitely find all levels of sexual heat and lots of zombies among these authors' books.
