I go with Shambhawi.. It depends upon the past...
As Shambhawi said, it depends on the past. we want to relive the happiest of moments of our past and keep feeling nostalgic whereas we tend to forget the bad moments in our past or keep it hidden so that even we cannot think about those moments.
tend to forget bad moments doesnt mean you clear it up .It will be still engraved. If not in ur mind , at a point in ur life all moments u seem to recall once again bcoz it pinch more than u fel happy recalling good moments
Bobby wrote: "can you ever escape your past?"Past is already escaped that is why its past. No one can live their past literally. So one could be nostalgic but can't live with it. So it is the present one lives with, i think? So sorry i don't know in which sense the question arise? But that is what i think. n n i don't have yet read the note book !!!!!!!!
the past should be forgotten but its human nature that we are unable to do so. we try hold on to the past but miss the chances we have at the present.
Believe it or not, it doen'st leave us, literally. Doesn't matter how much you ignore it and try to disown it, it is not going to go away that easily. It has never been and it will never. We are just being indifferent to our past -- specially, the bad ones, but it doesn't leave us that easily and it keeps us stinging. It can only leave us only in the situation when we go insane. But, until and unless we are sane all memories -- both good ones and bad ones are going to retain in our mind and it goes only upon our death -- that is the harsh reality. Better accept it!
