She is pretty. I don't see why she can't be Luce. But she should have straight hair in the movie. That's how I imagined Luce would look like. Who plays Daniel?

nooo i can't see that. I imagined Luce much taller, even sknnier, and more gothic yet innocent straight-face looking. almost like Victoria Justice without her playful voice ;)

I can honestly say that it doesn't matter what type of role you put Lucyy Hale in, she will be perfect for it. She can be innocent, mysterious, sexy, and strong all at the same time.

I love Lucy Hale in PLL but I dont think she is right to play Luce. For one Lucy Hale is too short to play what I imagined Luce like. Lucy Hale is also too cutesy like - Luce needs to have a right balance between innocence and a toughness - with a sexy smolder. Plus Lucy Hale will look weird with a short pixie hair cut lol. I hadnt heard of Kaya Scodelario before but she seems like a great choice - much like what i pictured when reading.

I think Kaya Sodelario would be perfect for Luce. I just don't picture Lucy Hale as Luce.

I think she'd be great for the role but I could be swayed by the fact I'm obsessed with PLL and love Aria (Lucy Hale's character) the most. Still there's something about her that to me makes her Luce all over but that's me not anyone else we all have someone who is our perfect Luce and Lucy is mine.

I think the person who should play Luce needs to be dark and gothique looking. Lucy has many of the qualities I see in Luce, but not enough for me to want her to play Luce in the movie. But I will still be a fangirl of it, even if Lucy is chosen for it. (:

I adore Lucy Hale, but I don't feel she really fits the part, however, I have been hearing this for so long now, that I am starting to vision her everytime I end up discussing the book with a friend, so now it's like, maybe she might as well. I still don't know how I feel about it yet, though.

I've just been browsing IMDB and came across Ksenia Solo who looks pretty much how I imagined Luce. She's got the black kinda curly hair, she looks like a cross between innocent but got a bit of that something else that I think makes Luce. She could definitely work as a Luce. She's got the image but never seen her act...hmmm...what does anyone else think?
I agree in thinking Lucy Hale seems a bit too innocent for Luce. I think it might be her eyes or something. She just doesn't look like Luce to me.

I thought of Lucy Hale right off the back also for the role of Luce. I think she would be perfect for it. I've seen her in other movies/tv shows and she's a really good actress.

When I was reading the books, I actually pictured Luce to look like Lucy Hale, haha.

i think she could be pretty decent. she's got a bit of the naivety that's needed yet i think that she could take on the depth of the role as well. we'll have to wait and see. there have been a lot of casting choices in movies that i found to be questionable that actually lived up to / exceeded expectations.

Lucy Hale is very beautiful, but not for Luce. Luce looks more girlish to me (Not that Lucy Hale doesn't), But she is more innocent looking to me.

Lucy Hale looks very innocent and pretty but she misses a certain strength. Kaya Scodelario looks perfect but there is a little cunningness in her eyes which makes her not as innocent or as I imagined Luce to be....
