It does seem very odd that it has been pulled from both - surely VFers haven't broken the internet?

Amazon has paper copies selling for under $3. I bought mine yesterday.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0843...
Hmm...this is very interesting. I have a Kobo ereader and Eternal Pleasures was available a few days ago from their website. I was going to buy it later but after reading the recent comments here I went to check and lo and behold it has also disappeared!
Darn I knew I should have bought Eternal Pleasures at the same time as the Cthulhu one. Internet, why don't you want us to read about sexy dinosaurs?!

I pointed it out to the author on twitter. Anyone know where to buy it online in any format atm? I have a kindle but it can probably be converted to mobi form w/e format the file is. I don't live in the US, but Sweden and if I buy a physical copy it needs to be from abroad because they don't sell that book here at all. But I would really prefer it as an e-book. Talking about Eternal Pleasure here.
I'd rather buy the ebook because I'd rather the author was getting something from it! At the moment it is only available on Amazon.co.uk second hand and most of those copies have to be shipped internationally :( No sexy dinosaur time for me I guess... that was not a sentence I was expecting to use today
I looked on Twitter and she said that the publisher went out of business... so that's why it's been so hard to find, and why all the ebook versions have disappeared.Which is really unfortunate timing for both VF readers who want to read the alt, as well as for Ms. Bangs who would have made some money off of VF this month...
Just saw on Twitter that the publishers of Eternal Pleasures are no longer in business and the author is hoping to get her rights back so she can self publish it. That may take some time though.
The other option for people struggling to find this book is to check your library for if they have a digital library lending content system. I've seen that EP is listed with a bunch of US libraries that have digital library lending systems set up with Overdrive. At a quick glance, Wake County, Southwest Virginia, Wisconsin and San Francisco. If you are a member of these libraries you just sign up for digital lending and can take out digital books just like you would with print.

You can search if any local areas have it near you for digital loan. Pity no one in NZ has loaded it to their digital systems. Doh

Aww that is such bad timing for everyone, I feel as though the author is missing out on a nice income this month. Ahh well it looks like i'm going for paperback. At least it's EP that we're having problems with, I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to read Cthulhu Erotica without my Kindle.
For those who have an iPhone or iPad or have something with iBooks (apple's digital reader app) I was able to get the first 2 books in the Gods of the Night series on iBooks :)
:( Its no longer on ibooks for me - Nina Bangs have about 5 books on iBooks, but none of them are form the Gods of the Night series. cursed impracticalities :( At least I got ahold of cthulurotica from the publisher :-)
Update with my battle of getting the ebook from the whitcoulls website: "I received confirmation from my contact at Kobo that this eBook is not yet available in NZ. As a result, I have processed a refund of $5.95 to go back to you"
So they are no longer selling the ebook. I was able to find an actual real copy of the book from my local library, it was sorta nice to hold a real book again.
The book is available for $4.68 on Books on Board, as Epub of PDF, for those who are interested in paying for it. http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php...

Awesome! That worked!

Thank you! After about an hour of fiddling I managed to remove the DRM so I could read it on my Kindle as well. Whose stupid idea was DRM anyway, makes buying books a hassle while making illegal download a lot more attractive. Punishing paying customers is a really stupid marketing idea.
/the happily turned grumpy paying customer.

I got the exact same email and decided to just take my refund and run. I wish I'd have gotten the book though - it's really hard to get for some reason! I'm going to try books on board...wish me luck!
Just a warning to anyone buying through booksonboard.com, you need Adobe Digital Editions installed in order to open the file they give you, and they do NOT offer refunds. Here's a link to download the software if you're interested. It's free, but I still found it a pain. http://www.adobe.com/products/digital...
I am thankful I bought the Nook version of Eternal Pleasure. I was at my little used bookstore the other day and they had 3 copies of Eternal Pleasure, and even one other from the series. I was telling the cute little old lady about it in the store and she said that she had reading material tonight. Kinda of curious on her thoughts about the book.
Argh! Booksonboard.com doesn't have it anymore either. I'm moving for the 35th time this Saturday (not even exaggerating). I refuse to buy another book that I have to pack in a box.
I wish the number of pages was consistent among the ebooks. I realize it must be the same amount of content, but I still automatically get suspicious when the Good Reads ebook says it has 340 pages and my epub version only has 227. Does anyone have info on why this happens? (Might be a silly question, but I am new to ebooks and their differences even amongst themselves.)
Crankyfacedknitter wrote: "I wish the number of pages was consistent among the ebooks. You can change the font size, scroll down on pages, and so on (with an ebook) so they're never going to be the same count as with a print book. However, all of the same content is there!
Okay, thanks. I figured I was being paranoid - they couldn't very well sell a copy of the book without half the content without someone raising a fuss. So far my ebooks have had drastically different page totals than the print book, which isn't all that surprising, but it frequently has 100+ pages fewer than the ebook versions according to GR, so I was curious.
Dognammit :( Bought the book from booksonboard.com - it's a total rip off! read the first chapter, and then suddenly there was a blank page saying "Demo version limitation" and then the next page was chapter5! It happened after another few chapters too - the books is unreadable! Trying to get some answers from booksonboard = not easy :(
Kari wrote: "Dognammit :( Bought the book from booksonboard.com - it's a total rip off! read the first chapter, and then suddenly there was a blank page saying "Demo version limitation" and then the next page w..."Ususally that means DRM, you have the whole book, but if you tried to read it somewhere else or converted it it will only be a Demo version. You need to remove the DRM of it first.
