Kristy Fowles Or at least more like this series. Do you guys have any books that are just as good if not kind of similar to the Lux series? Or even a Paranormal Romance that you really liked that is up to par with this series. Thanks guys!

Sweet Evil was really good too...the second book is not picked up by a publisher yet though which is crazy so its frustrating not knowing when or if the second book will get out there to read. : (

Oh please you need to see this - check out her website: http://www.wendyhigginswrites.com/ it's called "Sweet Hope" yey :):):)

Try out Beg for Mercy it is also mind-blowing :)

Definitely. I've read the first two of the Covnenant series and they're really good. I still prefer the Lux series but I'm told that the next book in the Covenant series makes it better than Lux. We'll see.

Megan I think both of these books have similarities to this one.

Something Witchy This Way Comes

City of Bones

Something Witchy reminds me so much of how this series started. The main characters have the same love-hate relationship. Keeps things exciting :)

City Of Bones is the start to a really awesome series so be warned that you will look for more after the first.

Wendy I wasn't impressed with the witchy books at all, but that's just me

Wendy I actually admit I have read some really crappy books lately...I got this one i thought would be a fun light read called Epic Fail, and i paid $8.99 and it was awful!! and then i read Crash (?) I think it was called and it was recommended for being like Beautiful Disaster and it was awful too...I feel like ive read all the good books and now there is nothing left, sigh

Megan I hate when that happens :( I'm glad I have a kindle so most of the things I experiment with are free. They are usually simple books but lately I have been finding some good ones on there. Your book taste could be different then mine though.

Wendy ive got a kindle too!! I love that you can read a sample first and the beginnings of these actually were promising, but i guess i should have known...what have you been reading? i'll take suggestions : )

Have you read Easy by Tammara Webber ? It was great and I just read On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves this weekend and am totally in love with it too.

Megan (It won't let me post with the links, but I can give you title and author)

Bound- C.K.Bryant
Now that I think about it, this series is strikingly similar to the Lux series. You should definitely give it a try! I'm anticipating the third.

Prince of Wolves- Quinn Loftis
Super funny and sarcastic characters. Leaves you laughing and wanting more. Its a series as well and there are still more to come :)

My Blood Approves- Amanda Hocking
The beginning is much like Twilight (I happen to like the books, but everyone is different), but stick with it and it gets better. A lot happens and its really cool. I must warn you, its about vampires, so if you are tired of that hype then it might not be for you. It is a little different though. Just take a look at it and see what you think.

Hope this helps :)

Wendy I will try them! thanks :-)

Megan No problem :) let me know what you think!

Existence & Predestined

{edit} Oooooh, I forgot

I love Prince of Wolves! And its free on amazon and other places forever! Which means you can read it and see if you want to keep going with the series. My blood approves was real good too.

Jessica Crone I would recommend the Delirium Series and the Mortal Instruments.

Halle ugh. loved delirium, hated pandamonium. but i do <3 mortal instruments. It's better half is the Infernal Devices. I recomend.

Adrianna [SypherLily] I'm in the same boat. I feel like it'll be impossible to find a book that has a relationship that resembles the one Katy and Daemon have. Katy is tough and they are hilarious together, but they have their sweet moments. -sighs- I can't wait for Opal. I really can't.

Marie Hall Is the third book of the covenant series out yet? The second left me on a cliff hangar. :( And I've looked for the 3rd, but can't find it anywhere.

message 28: by Esme (new) - rated it 5 stars

Esme no its not out yet :( I'm So Excited!!!

Marie Hall Aiden's pov??? Awesome! I can't wait to read that one either. November, huh?? Such a long wait. :( Thanks!

❤️ Diana ❤️ I would have to go with the Fever series (Barrons is like a grown up version of Daemon) and Significiance (Caleb is just so sweet)

LAJones Existence - Abbi Glines
It is AMAZING!

message 32: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey Machan The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer...thought it had funny parts? Can anyone tell me why Jennifer's making her readers wait 2 years for the Lux series to end?

Fafiliebe ♥ Warner ♥ Raffe ♥ Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee it is amazing
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead this series is epic
Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout sooooo good
Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton i love this one..

message 34: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Vampire Academy as most people said.

I loved "Something Witchy This Way Comes" by Veronica Blade personally. It's got suspense and a love/hate relationship - but done very well.

Well, you can always read other J. Armentrout books like Convenant series. First book is Half-Blood and is definetely AMAZING!
Try Shatter Me from Tahereh Mafi. An incredibly well written book and perfect characters.
