I think the answer is "river," but I actually prefer yours, as it kinda fits and is much more amusing. :)

The next riddle goes to you, Mike!
With pointed fangs it sits in wait,
With piercing force it doles out fate,
Over bloodless victims proclaiming its might,
Eternally joining in a single bite
What is it?

Is it a fork?
It seems like a silly answer, but everything else I can think of is either too obvious or too obscure. "Fork" makes sense to me.
Oops! sorry for missing this guess for a while!
"Fork" is a very good guess (and makes sense to me too), but not quite right. Hint - The "victims" here never have blood. The last line is pretty important (or at least was for me solving it...)

What makes a loud noise when changing its jacket, becomes larger but weighs less?

I debated putting this one up, since I never solved it myself and these didn't really need to get harder, but the answer is so clever and amusing I couldn't resist.
Answer: (view spoiler) . Brilliant, but so difficult.
Hopefully an easier one: I am lighter than a feather, yet no man can hold me for very long. What am I?

For the current riddle, your shadow?
(And if I'm right, someone else come up with a riddle. I've done all the ones I know)
Yes, but not much of one. More directly - it's something usually thought of as insubstantial/intangible (like a shadow or sunlight), but technically isn't and can definitely be held.

Which is correct to say, "The yolk of the egg are white," or "The yolk of the egg is white?"
... you totally got me. Knew there was more to this than it seemed but couldn't quite figure it out and looked it up. Brilliant riddle, and I feel like an idiot. ;)

Which is correct to say, "The yolk of the egg are white," or "The yolk of the egg is white?""
Neither are correct. Yolks are yellow.
Someone else can tell a riddle. I'm all out of them.

I like riddles like this one. You are given two choices, but of course they are both wrong :)

A boy and his father get in a car accident and are rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival they are met with a doctor. The doctor takes a look at the boy and says, "I cannot operate on him! He is my son!". How can this be?

Hahaha! That would be one lousy waiter. :)
She put sugar in the tea before noticing the fly. The tea brought back to her was sweet, so she knew it wasn't fresh.

Three brothers share a family sport:
A non-stop marathon
The oldest one is fat and short
And trudges slowly on
The middle brother's tall and slim
And keeps a steady pace
The youngest runs just like the wind,
A-speeding through the race
"He's young in years, we let him run,"
The other brothers say
"'Cause though he's surely number one,
He's second, in a way."

A truck driver is going opposite traffic on a one-way street. A police officer sees him but doesn't stop him.
Why didn't the police officer stop him?
