Andrea Anyone else think that Mark and Trina were Chuck's parents, or that Alec and Lena was? Oh, and who else thought Deedee was actually Teresa or Brenda? I even came to think that Mark was actually Rat Man. Those would have been interesting twists, but no. *Sigh* Although, Deedee still could have been Teresa or Brenda, since a lot of things go unsaid in this series

By the way, that was one of the saddest fucking endings I have ever read!

ACTUALLY: In another copy of TKO, it says Teresa IS Deedee. Teresa meets Thomas in the epilogue and they tell each other that they're immune and Teresa says she's been with Wicked for two years, and her name used to be Deedee! Okay!

Zeterniouss i thought evrything u asked while reading it. but then mark and trina die and i almost cried as much as i did reading bout newt's death. :( i get very attached to freaking book characters. that tells u so much bout my life right there

Kristell I thought at first that Mark and Trina could be someone's parents as well, but then I thought they would be the original creators of the trials but in the end i just thought that Deedee was Teresa, since they were the principal characters in the first book, and Thomas just comes two years later.
i actually think that on the others they are still the main ones and Brenda just comes in and is a secondary character, to me Brenda was never a main character lol. I get attached to them as well but I liked Teresa better than Brenda.

Millie Brenda mentions in the second book "if wishes were fishes" and says it's something her dad said. Alec uses that phrase in the Kill Order. I believe Brenda is Deedee, she is much more jaded than Teresa, I can't imagine if Teresa lived thru what Deedee did she would be such a supporter of Wicked. In the Kill Order Alec and Mark talk about "crankheads" in comparison to the sick, and in the other books they are called Cranks. I think Deedee told everyone in the PFC what happened on her journey, and she remembered them using that word in front of her, thus, leading to the PFC nick naming the sick "Cranks".

Kelly Brigid ♡ In another version of The Kill Order, they did say that Deedee was Teresa. Like in the back. And, their has been rumors that Alec was Brenda's father, cause like Millie said, "Brenda mentions in the second book "if wishes were fishes" and says it's something her dad said. Alec uses that phrase in the Kill Order..." I agree.

Deedee is Teresa, but I don't think Mark, Trina, Lana and Alec have anything to do with the Gladers or WICKED. I don't know why people keep thinking this.

Kelly Brigid ♡ I don't see why Alec couldn't be Brenda's father. She claims "WICKED killed him" and technically they did.

Gretchen so wait, how many versions of the kill order are there?!?!?!?!?!? cuz LITERALLY i just finished the book like 5 min ago.... or so i thought...

There's the regular version, and the Barnes and Noble version.

Emma Idk about Mark and Trina and Alec and Lena, but I'm pretty sure Alec is Brenda's dad. And, some lovely person wrote out the whole extra chapter where Teresa tells Tommy her name used to be Deedee, for the people who don't have the barnes and noble copy:
