This book is very good so far! I love the humorous dialogue between the characters. I feel so bad for Emma!

Thoughts before reading this book: I'm really excited to read my third mermaid book and I love the cover :)

Thoughts on 6 chapters: So far it's pretty good! I'm really liking the switching of povs between Emma and Galen. I feel really bad for Emma since she has to deal with (view spoiler)[ the death of Chloe, her bff. (hide spoiler)] Did anyone else think that Galen's actions were kinda creepy and similar to Patch in the hush hush series?

Galen didn't remind me of Patch at all but now that you mention it I can see the similarities. Both are mysterious stalkerish types.

Really? First thing I thought when he was moving to Jersey just because she lives there and then when he came to her school and had ALL the same classes as her I was like he must be related to Patch.

I am not a big fan of Galen's sister! She kinda irritates me the way she is so rude about humans.

Yeah but I think she will learn to love them ;) Emma is pretty likable so far and Galen is well related to Patch. I can see the twist that is going to occur since

Toraf seems fine to me! Rayna however is just horrible!!!!! How could she just say that Emma killed her bff?

Yeah they are! When Rayna was driving I just knew she would get into an accident. Kind of obvious :P

I rated the book 4 stars! I'm surprised how much I liked this book and how excited i am for the second one! That ending was really good!
