HAHA When I ranked mine I Googled the right type of ranking pa because I got confused with the .5's =)) Sonmi, yay!! :D

Okay, a question to everyone, or at least, those who have finished: What Mitchell book are you going to read next? :D
Me: I have Ghostwritten waiting on my TBR. :D

I'm pretty sure I'm going to read another work of his sometime in the future, I just don't know which :))

Hi H, I'm with you on this one. My initial rating is a 3, but when I think of the stories individually, Sloosha's Crossin' lang tlg ang torture sa aken. I really like halos lahat pala! I might settle for a 4.
I was not THAT amazed. Walang gaanong "punch" for me. But after I finished CA, na-realize ko, nag-enjoy namn pala ako sa pagbabasa.
and when i saw the movie banners... goosebumps. Hae-Joo!

Hehe yay hindi ako nagiisa! Pero tama ka, parang ang ganda ng movie. Excited na akong mapanood!
Actually, ung different stories ok naman talaga but as a whole it just wasn't impressive and I don't get the reason behind the structure of the novel. It just feels show-offy to me.

As per SM cinema news, Nov 28.

But that makes sense naman -- and honestly, doesn't it also reflect our everyday lives? Not being pa-deep, ha, but you know. Individually, we all have our own stories and we're probably okay alone, but when we lives cross and connect with the people around us, our stories change. :)
Okay -- Because I was bored at work (ayaw ko lang magwork, actually), I made an overall ranking of all stories based on the ranking most of us did. Here's the overall ranking:
1. An Orison of Sonmi~451 (Obvious naman. :D)
2. Letters from Zedelghem
3. The Pacific Journal of Adam Ewing
4. The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish
5. Sloosha's Crossin' an' Ev'rythin' After
6. Half-Lives: The First Luisa Rey Mystery
With that in mind, I just thought of a perfect venue for our discussion! Subspace Coffee in Ortigas! It's Korean...er, K-pop themed, so bagay lang kay Sonmi. :D https://www.facebook.com/subspace.coffee
Still game for October 6, friends? Will send an invite via Facebook
tonighttomorrow (will check the cafe lang before sending an invite)!
