J.A. Belfield (jabelfield) I know. :o\ A year seems like an absolute age to me, too. At least it's not December again. :o)

J.A. Belfield (jabelfield) Ta-da!
Heeeeeeeeeeereeee's Ethan(s cover)

And his blurb:

If the meek can become deadly, the strongest can be weak.

For Ethan Holloway, his mission to find a missing werewolf should be simple. Crack a few heads, bust a few chops and the solution always reveals itself. Always.

Not this time.

Ethan’s reputation precedes him, and because it does, someone is ready. Waiting. Unbeknownst to Ethan, he’s about to go down. Hard. Against a foe he never suspected and in a world he never imagined could be real.

What awaits Ethan is a fight not only for his reputation, but also his pack, his female, and his life. If he survives, damage control will become priority number one.

If he survives.

Because even Ethan’s not sure he’s strong enough to take on an entire race all by himself.

Especially one hell bent on exposing who and what he is in the name of sport.

J.A. Belfield (jabelfield) Afternoon, guys.
A video interview with yours truly is currently being organised by another author in preparation for the Caged blog tour.
He's asked me to ask: are there any particular questions any of you would like the answers to, that you would like him to fire at me on your behalf. So I'm posting here to give you a chance to speak up. ☺

(the interview will *hopefully* be taking place on Thursday)

Renée (maagtablet) | 28 comments I have one, when are you sending me a copy!? ;)

CAGED - Wow, was this worth the wait? Hell yes! I was finally allowed inside Ethan’s head. I love Sean, but Ethan’s right up there now too :0)

Yay! So glad he's sharing a piece of your heart. Next, I have to win you over with Kyle in Unnatural when that arrives ...

Yes, it’s always interesting when you fall for a MC, so when another takes the lead you never know where your head is going to go... :0)

BTW love what you did with the name the character competition; it’s so nice to allow your readers the chance to contribute in some small but important way. I've always wondered - do the names of your characters come first or is it their personalities? Have you ever changed any mid-way through completing a book?

Sean and Jem's names arrived right alongside their characters. Then I had to decide on how many pack members there would be and who would be who--so I did name searches for those until I found ones that felt 'right' for them, so I guess I must have had an idea of 'who' they'd grow into even at the concept stage. Poppy was easy--her name was chosen to suit her hair, and so her daughter automatically seemed to suit being named after a flower also. But mostly, for main characters I 'hear' them with name and all, and for side characters, it's their personality before the name slots in.

And thank you. The naming contest was HEAPS of fun. Whilst I have the female name already for Holloway Pack 6, I shall certainly try this again for other works because I loved doing it. ♥
