My nickname is LivvyLu 'cus there used to be this old beauty store in NY called LibbyLu and I'm known for having been a very prissy little child so the name just kind of stuck.

what got me hooked was Percy's awesomeness & sense of humour, before reading Percy Jackscon series, i didnt like reading, especially fantasy, my friend gave me the books & told me to read them. I started reading the first page of TLT to see if it was any good, & i couldnt stop reading! after i read the books, i went to the bookstore & bought them so i could re-read them

Yeah, we probably should:)

Becky (crisscrossedshelves) I first got the five-book series for a Christmas present. I knew nothing about mythology and was already pretty deep in my book obsession. So I cracked open The Lightning Thief and got busy. Ho-ly snot, I was IN LOVE. I could'nt put it down. The witty/snarky comments, the humor, the suspence, I adored all of it. I jumped to read the others and was not disappointed. That was at least three years ago. Now, I spout random info on the myths and I have read the series 6 times.

Dhriti (dramaqueen101percyismine) ive only read it 4 times

Who else has re-read THG? I read the entire series seven times (I'm thinking about moving it up to eight).

The fact that I like to read books in the first person point of view actually got me hooked to the story. And Percy's humor, too. :3

Ikr? Poor Annie...BTW, I saw a picture of Annabeth, but the artist wrote/called her Annie, and I had no clue who it was. I was like, "Does she mean THG Annie?" Took my friend about twenty minutes to get it through my thick skull.
Whoops.

Cherie (sandsnek) The mythological aspect I found to be very interesting. There was a lot of stuff I didn't know, and I like how riordan modernized it and added humor.
