I'm curious, what got you hooked on the book? I got hooked by Percy's sudden humor. Humor always draws me in. Haha, hilarious! Then came the awesome modern mythology..Plus, Percy was easy and entertaining! And so it began...

Well, I actually read the third book first (I didn't know it at the time, but I found out eventually.) and mainly what got me hooked was the characters and the epic-ness of the book itself. Then I finally read the other 4.

What got me hooked on the book...:) My grandma told me to read it one family reuioun when I was complaining I was going to emplode with boredom. So I read it and I LOVED it! And at the time I NEVER read!! (hard to Believe! I know)
I loved Percy! He was sarcastic like me, he hated school like me, he was dyslexic I was hooked! :D And on top of that mythology! I've always loved mythology! :) :D

His worst yet are The Heroes of Olympus books. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians books didn't have too many cliffies, but The HoO does.

I have always loved Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology (literally since like 3rd grade) so when PJO came out and the guy who headed the young writers club at Barnes and Noble reccomended it to me, I was instantly intrigued. By the first chapter, Percy, the writing style, the story, and the modern times meet ancient mythology had me hook line and sinker! :)

I-like Taggerung-always loved greek, Roman, and Egyptian History, noly from an even earlier age. 2'nd grade, maybe? And I love witty humor. So everything about PJ got me hooked.

It wasn't confusing. A lot of kids can relate to Percy so that's why he's such an fun character to read about. HA the awesome modern mythology totally makes it better. Man, this series is my favorite!

Oh...<3 a girl after my own heart. I am obsessed with Disney movies (who couldn't be when you have a million younger sibs who watch them constantly?).
And I also have this bad obsession with watching Disney's cheesy teen movies. I know they're cheesy, I know they kinda stink, but I still watch them.

I HAVE seen every movie more than twice. Lol like 4 times minimum. Never been to disneyland or disneyworld though because it costs way too much for a big family.

Mulan is awesome!!!!! Shang is so perfect for her...just saying lol. Mu Shu is HILARIOUS!!!! Seeing it in theaters was so awesome though, the Huns charging down the mountain, wow that was an awesome in theater experience. :)
