message 101: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell Sally guessed it right first.

Who was your guess?

message 102: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy It involves some deconvolution, Heidi, but I believe from the set of posts {5, 80, 88, 90} the solution can be inferred. Intuiting the answer psychically is probably a good deal less effort.

message 103: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) *blink*

message 104: by Heidi (last edited Feb 02, 2009 11:54AM) (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Alright... a confession. I'm not reeeally psychic. It was all a clever ploy to get Dave to share. :)

message 105: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I love confessions.

I was a fan of Taxicab Confessions.

message 107: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh yeah.

message 108: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments are people allowed to have crushes on here?

message 109: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Try to stop it, Kevin.

message 110: by Kevin (last edited Feb 02, 2009 04:59PM) (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i am changing my profile pic to something not so dufus looking LOLOL

message 111: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) You mean like mine?

message 112: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i think mine and yours look somewhat the same

message 113: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy Kevin, this is a website about reading books. I hardly feel like dufus-ness impedes crushworthiness. Just look at me! Who doesn't have a crush on me, that's what I'd like to know.

message 114: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Indeed, Isaiah.

message 115: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments good point. also, i can let you know that i for one, do NOT have a crush on you. maybe i should just have a profile pic of me with a book on my head

message 116: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Choose said book wisely.

Isaiah,

oh, Isaiah.

message 118: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy Aha! She did not say she did not! Let the record show she did not say no!

This is the closest I've ever been to first base.

message 119: by Félix (last edited Feb 02, 2009 05:34PM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) So noted.::suppresses jealousy::

Félix (habitseven) we be juvenile

message 122: by RandomAnthony (last edited Feb 02, 2009 06:00PM) (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Maybe facebook needs a new app in which you can send notes that read "Do you like me? Circle one...yes...no...maybe." We can pass them in study hall.

message 123: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Great idea!

message 124: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i think we should create some kind of e-deal where it is one of those origami things where you put your fingers in it and someone picks a color and a number and then when you unfold it it has your love horoscope. does anyone remember those?

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

message 126: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments EXACTLY!! nicely done Montambo. do you remember these? ever do one?

message 127: by [deleted user] (new)

They're still a major part of elementary school life. I've helped kids make a babillion of them.

message 128: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Some things never change.

message 129: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments they are??? the ones where you pick purple and then open and close it while saying P-U-R-P-L-E and then when you open it there are numbers and you do it again? you must be a fav with the kids.

message 130: by Pamela(AllHoney) (new)

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) I know how to make a paper balloon :)

message 131: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments what??? man, you girls are making my GR crush choice really tough

message 132: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Wait, wait!!

Don't forget about me. I have a very sexy mustache.

message 133: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments duly noted julie. a very desirable trait under certain situations calling for giggling. does this have to be a secret crush?

message 134: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Evidently it can't be.
We'll just create a thread about it until you cave.
But it is fun.

message 135: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments dangit. i was hoping it was a secret deal seeing how no one has named me yet. i dunno, chicks that like books are pretty crush-able

message 136: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Yeah, literacy is one of my top qualities in a crush.

message 137: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i am wondering if that was a direct rip on my writing and vocabulary...guess i am out LOL

burn!

message 139: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments yup, that confirms it Sally. guess i better duck out of this crowd and join Dumbasses.com. perhaps I should have been more magniloquent...

message 140: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) ::looks up magniloquent::

message 141: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments None of the guys I knew in junior high would've EVER participated in note passing or making fortune tellers.

message 142: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Way too cool for that -- right Heidi?

message 143: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I think it was more like... completely uninterested.

message 144: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Ah, yes. Great distinction.

message 145: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I only say that because most were not cool...

message 146: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Got it.

message 147: by Pamela(AllHoney) (new)

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) Heidi wrote: "I only say that because most were not cool..."

But I bet they thought they were :)

message 148: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I think of Jake on Two and a Half Men. Charlie called him Sponge Bob Smear Pants.

message 149: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Kevin, I didn't actually mean it as a burn. My grammer is horrible, so I can't make fun of anyone in that department.
But I can read.

message 150: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
No, no. My boyfriend in junior high used to write me long, long letters. The closest I've ever come to a bona fide love letter. One a day, sometimes two or three.

I still have them all. <3
